Welcome aboard ! Are you aware of salary differences? go to www.salary.com

to see what pharm tech salary compares to what you are doing in administration

now. In general many techs make 1.5 to 2 times min wage.

Some unfortunately still make min wage.

IF you are in management already you might be making more money than you can

afford to leave. On the other hand you may be ready and looking for a

significant change and challenge and are willing to accept the difference in

pay.

After you have done this, go to US Labor Department and search for pharmacy

technician to read all about tech duties and work.

Looking forward to serving you,

Respectfully,

Hopefully this group can help me and I'll offer any help I can to

others.

Have a good day all.

Hi, I heard that there is going to be something new for treatments out there

soon. I have done treatments twice- once in 99 and then again in 2002 nothing

works. My gastro guy punched me in my liver last time and after that I haven't

gone back. He told me he was going to do that but I didn't think he would hit

me so hard. I don't know what that accomplised then he told me that I probably

didn't have it anymore and when he checked I still did and still do. I haven't

gone back to him since and just see my regular doc. I was diagnosed in 1998 and

don't really know how long I have had this. I was told that the genotype that I

have doesn't resond-I know that from the treatments. Anyway just wanted to see

if there was anything new in world of hepc. My daughter also just got

diagnosed last month.
