Guest guest
Hi Rod Im not sure which oils are best to consume. They all seem to have their drawbacks, even fish oil. If you are cooking with oil - I guess that means that you are frying foods. Olive oil on salads is supposed to be good for one, but not in cooking. HCV promotes digestive disorders, because the liver is part of the digestive tract. I know that when I lived in Taiwan, a lot of foods were stir fried. Fried foods are usually a no-no to people who have liver or digestive problems. If you eat fried foods and suffer from bloating, stomach pain, or acid reflux, it might be time to choose an alternative means of cooking. I have used plain water instead of oil to stir fry with. Its sort of like steaming instead of frying. love don in ks From: Rodney Gisick <rodgis44@...>Subject: [ ] Coconut Oil Date: Friday, April 22, 2011, 9:33 AM So I've been using coconut oil here in the Philippines. Supposed to be good for you, now this Chinese study! HELP! LOL. I also use olive oil and keep reading not to heat olive oil, tho everyone does! I'm at a loss now what oil to use??? I don't use much anyway, but is there any that is good for you now and that you can safely cook with that doesn't do something bad for you? Who to believe? Sorry, bad day, and this just confuses me more. I can do research and everyone I'll bet says something different. Best to just croak! HA! I certainly don't want to encourage my HCV along, esp. with HIV co-infection, which does anyway! Eating can be so discouraging! And fun!
