Guest guest
Nearly a year ago, I was researching coconut oil. I found a peer reviewed study from a Chinese University that did petre dish testing with the components of coconut oil; Lauric Acid, Myristic acid, Capyralic acid, Palmitic and Capric Acid were tested for their anti-HCV properties. The results were that Coconut Oil actually helped the Hep C Virus to grow rather than destroying it. I am also aware that a few well known health advocates thought that the acids in Coconut Oil cut up the viral chain and destroyed it; but they did not site any peer reviewed scientific research work when they said this. It seems like they assumed Coconut Oil killed HCV because it kills other types of virus. Perhaps they had a favorable disposition towards the oil because it has many good qualities and uses. I would like to see more scientific studies concerning this. Jeff
