Guest guest
Hi Jannhet From my experience with the local Stroke Association. Most Stroke patients have, beside some physical disability/pain, depression. They may go through the anger/denail/uselessness stage. EFT is very effective. For those with slurred speech/hearing impediments, try surrogate EFT tapping. Regular Energy/Chakra cleansing and balancing, as advocated by Dayu,is a must to reduce symptoms and prevent the future possibility of recurrrences. Seek out a TCM practitioner for acupunture treatment and daily arm and shoulder exercises by physiotherapist to unfrozen the shoulder joint will do wonder. Supplements: Consider Flax Seed Oil, Gingko Biloba Regards
Guest guest
Helen, get NATURAL Progesterone cream RIGHT NOW and rub it on. Look at the link below. MAKE SURE ITS NOT THE STNTHETIC,NOT medroxyprogesterone acetate, aka Provera. Synthetic causes problems of its own. Magnesium oil will help a little, but not as much as NATURAL Progesterone cream ... http://www.virginiahopkinstestkits.com/progesterone_stroke.html
Guest guest
Hi Helen ! Greetings from the Philippines ! Based from what I have read and heard over past the 5 years, health-wise, although fats and oils derived from plants (vegetable/tree oil crops are much better than that sourced from animals, not all of the plant-derived edible/cooking oils are ideal or healthy because of the inherent difference or variation in the fatty acid composition and content (%). Growing number of people in the southern, northern, eastern and eastern hemispheres, globally had realized this fact. The most desirable, healthiest oil for cooking or foof uses/applications are those dominated by the short and medium chains saturated fatty acids with only small amounts of the unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Well known and respected medical-nutritionists and book authors like Dr Bruce Fife, Dr Enig, the late Dr Conrado Dayrit (highly didtingushed Pharmacologist/medical scientist of the Philippines, and many others, have strongly recommended coconut oil for edible, nutritional, medicinal purposes and as a regular cooking oil, mainly due to its high content of the lauric (C12) saturated fatty acid, 48 -53%, the highest among the plant oils, the most stable and energy- enhancing and promotes the good cholesterol presence (high density lipoprotein or HDL). As such, it is not converted or transformed as a transfat oil which is believe or known widely to cause excessive oxidation of our body cells, resulting eventuallly to cancer disease in parts of our body. Hoping this info helps. All the best, Sev Magat From: Helen Wang <dingyung49@...> Subject: stroke Coconut Oil Date: Tuesday, June 8, 2010, 1:00 AM  Hi, group,    My friend's husband just had episode of stroke and was told he will be in full recovery .. She asked my advice. They eat vegetable oils all their life. So I suggest them change their cooking oil and eat less meat. I understood oliver oil is a better choice but it can not heat in higher tempenture. Does coconut oil is their better choice for heating/cooking? Does saturated fat will not fit for stroke victims? I have always cook with coconut oil and it did not raise my cholestrol level. your inputs much appreciated. Helen
Guest guest
OK everybody!! My mother is right on my tail about seeing the Dr. on Monday. Like you said Teri, it will show up when they test. Plus, there is a bit of family history as well. I've also had to promise my mother that I will keep the phone right with me, in case something more happens. She says that when she talked to me, I was slurring my speech. Well, I hate to admit; but, I don't remember talking to her at all. I can't remember very much except the fall.It doesn't help that I still have the mucous and the cough!Gloria
