Guest guest
Donna, All of a sudden, your virus just cleared up? What wonderful news! What genotype are you? Did you take any herbs? What was your viral count before? I want to know everything you did to help yourself clear this thing so I can add it to my arsenal. Edie Good news > Hey everyone, I don't post often, but I read everything. Just got the news today that after 12 months - I continue to be undetecable for HVC. I am apparently one of 15% that is able to clear virus without treatment. How much damage was done before a went into remission? but this is good news. I still fatigue easily and suffer from brain fog and have some pain, but all in all I feel okay. Am 52 year old female and most likely got HCV from IV drug use in my younger years. Have been drug free for over 20 years. Do not drink alcohol or smoke. These may have been factors in my bodies ability to heal itself - who knows? They don't know enough about this monster to even venture a guess. I want to tell all of you that I fell like you are part of my extended family. I wish all of you good health and happiness. Keep fighting the good fight. Hugs, donna > > >

Kiss one for me will ya? And so close to goal! OMG CONGRATS CONGRATS! in Ark ENVIOUS TO MY TOES!

I am 5'7 and can carry 150 pounds with no problem. I have really been trying to eat more protein. I don't know if that did it or if it would have done this anyway - but I am happy. > Second- my 25th wedding anniversary is next Monday. My husband has surprised me with a trip to Orlando, FL to Discovery Cove to swim with the dolphins. We are going over Labor Day weekend. I can hardly sit still from excitement! I went there last summer and it was the experience of a lifetime. The only negative the whole day was my weight. This time I am going with no negatives. Guest guest
Congrats on finally winning the battle. Insurance companies are so strange --- at the time of surgery I had CIGNA PPO and they paid for my surgery with no hesitation. It is that old " every plan is different " game they play I guess. I still have CIGNA but now I have HMO -- we'll see how nice they are about plastic surgery soon as I have an appointment on Tuesday to discuss starting the process with a breast lift and a brachioplasty (arms). Tummy, etc. will have to await another 30 pounds or so! in GA GOOD NEWS Hi everyone. I can not believe it!!! I finally got papers in the mail that states that Cigna has paid at out-of-network benefits on my surgery!!!! They paid at 60%. This is better than what I had 10 1/2 months ago. I will also owe CMI (the company that helped me get Cigna to pay) a % of what Cigna pays. It still really burns me that I had to fight them so much and that I had to pay someone else to get Cigna to pay, but at least I didn't give up. I really wanted too at different times, but I didn't. I'm really excited. I feel like I finally won one against the insurance company!!!!! I also just found out that our employer is giving us the opportunity to have Cigna insurance next year or a new HMO from Physicians Health Plan. I am seriously considering changing to PHP. Does anyone out there have PHP or know anything about them and how good they are about paying claims? I still can't believe they finally paid. I have been fighting this for more than 1 1/2 years. This is so cool. Thanks for listening to me ramble. Bonded by our experience, strength and hope Rhonda MGB - 11/30/00 279/185.5/1??

Guest guest
Rhonda: I am so glad your insurance paid something. Insurance companies are named wrong for this day in time. They should be called Lots of Luck or something like that because they get out of paying every dime they can but you won that is so sweet, Phyllis

Guest guest
Rhonda, PHP pays nothing toward anything relating to weight loss or at least they didn't last year. One of my friends and I both went all the way thru the appeals process in an attempt to get them to pay for our mgb's. It may have changed but I doubt it. Why don't you call the insurance companies you're considering and ask them to send you booklets detailing what they cover. That way, you can at least make an informed decision and know which one offers better coverage for your particular needs. Bankie
Guest guest
So far I am still taking the 3 in evening and 2 in morn. Do u know how low wbc would be for it to be dangerously low. Also, if numbers tend to drop significantly would I be able to tell by any sort of symptons?? Is there anything I should be looking for. I don't know what would be normal and what wd not be normal in as far things cd be just side effects from medication.
