It leaves me with such horrible dry mouth that at this point I can no longer bear it. Nights were robbed of what little sleep I was getting as I was constantly reawakening and nearly choking with the dry mouth. I had been taking the product at night before bed as that seemed to work best for me, so I switched to mornings. But only the tinest bit of improvement there. I am drinking all the water I can manage, following the ratio of 1/2 body weight in ozs. If I reduce homozon dose the bowels do not move at all. Guest guest
Saul, I am so glad you mentioned that. I have been wanting to ask you for some time, what is the connection with oxygen and efa's. For some reason I was thinking that oxygen used up efa's? Is that right, or am I just remembering wrong? I was thinking that might be why I felt depressed on higher doses of homozon. Thanks, Donna -----Original Message----- Dear Deanna, You are short of EFAs. Take flax oil capsules at every meal. Best of Health! Guest guest
Dear Deanna, Flax oil in capsules or in liquid are the same. The capsules have a better chance of not being rancid. Either one should always be kept in the fridge. We use Udo's Ultimate Oil Blend, certified organic, from Flora, which has flax oil and sunflower and sesame and evening primrose oils, soy lecithin, rice germ oil, oat germ oil, rosemary extract, and tocotrienol. The ratio of Omega 3:6:9 is 2:1:1 Best of Health! Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh, LTOH From: djbellministry@... Guest guest
Hi Deanna, If you are thirsty, drink more water. Homozon can be a very powerful detoxifier, and depending on what is being detoxified, the body can use a lot of water in the process. Question: What KIND of water are you drinking? The best water is distilled (best distiller I have found is the Waterwise, either model 7000 or 9000), that has had electrolytes added back in. The best electrolyte additive I've found is Celtic Sea Salt, although I intend to get my friend (who tests things using kinesiology) to test the Alacer Emergen-C stuff too (anyone else have any other form of electrolytes they think are best?), and then been ozonated. Obviously, not everyone can afford an ozonator, so the next best thing is something called 'Clustered Water'. Willard water is OK (my friend rated it a 5 on a scale of 1-10, which actually is pretty good), but 'Clustered Water' is MUCH better. Even though it isn't 'real' cheap, since you only need one 8 oz glass a day, the concentrate goes a LONG way. My friend determined my optimum amount was only 4 ozs a day, so the $200 worth (8 4oz containers of concentrate, at 1oz per gallon of distilled water) will last me about 3 YEARS. > DRY MOUTH > > Hi group, Deanna here, > I've been taking Homozon for a while now, and while it is great > to have the bowels moving, it has also created another problem. > It leaves me with such horrible dry mouth that at this point I > can no longer bear it. Guest guest
, I'm working at drinking more water. But I have to really WORK. It's puzzeling. About 8 or 9 years ago I went through a season of time where I couldn't drink enough. I was constantly drinking copious amounts, maybe a gallon and a half every day, not to mention the nights. Could not quench my thirst. Then for some unknown reason I got past it. And at this point I have to force myself to drink anything past 100 ozs. I know I must need more than that or I wouldn't be having these symptoms, but why I need it and can't gag any more down is a puzzle. Our water hear is bad. Farming country and the water table is saturated with chemicals, plus terrible amounts of chlorine added, loads of iron and sulfur. I stopped drinking it several months ago after the last water analysis. Very scarey. Anyway, now I use bottled water that is taken from a spring on Mount Shasta, it's supposed to be very pure run off from the glacier there. I haven't seen an analysis, but at the time I made the decision to switch to them it just seemed better than what was coming out of my tap. It comes to me weekly in 5 gal jugs. The jugs are dated, I know the water is fresh and hasn't spent a lot of time in the plastic, but I'm sure whatever time it's in them isn't good. I would like to look more into the types you mentioned. Can you give me more info? Thanks, Deanna On Wed, 1 Aug 2001 08:36:37 -0400 " Marcus " <charlesm@...> writes: > Hi Deanna, > > If you are thirsty, drink more water. Guest guest
Dr Saul, If I purchase a capsuled flax oil product off the shelf, might it have already been out there too long? Does UDO's come in capsules? I did see bottled UDO's in the frig at HF store, but none in caps. Do the oil caps need to be taken with something like cottage cheese to gain it's benefit, as was suggested a while back on the topic of bottled flax oil? Guest guest
Dear Deanna, I wouldn't buy a non-refrigerated flax oil product. The Udo's Oil comes in capsules, which is the way I buy it. Guest guest
Caroline, You might try www.laclade.com for dry mouth info. ~~tricia~~ -- Dry Mouth Not so long ago, there was a discussion about dry mouth and things to do to make it better. Does anyone off the top of their head remember what the solutions were? I seem to find myself becoming a " cottonmouth " and need the remedy. Any help sure would be appreciated. I would look it up myself but my vision is very difficult to focus and my head is spinning. Thanks in advance to any who can offer help. Smile to all, and prayers for those who need it. Curiously, my EVO intake has decreased as winter hits. I usually rely on it as a salad dressing. So this week I'd returned to salads for the first time in awhile. I've decreased my fish oil intake per day from 4 x 1000mg to 2. Just out of interest what do you think of the idea that fish oil is not good for type Os because it thins an already thin blood. And, last but not least, I used to eat 2 bananas per day (good source of potassium) but a cyclone ravaged our banana growing region which caused their price to go from around $2 per kilo to $14. A single banana costs over $2. Yipes.
Guest guest
In China, the fruit is by the season. Right now there are TONS of bananas as well as other fruits. I can buy a banana for about 1RMB which divided by 8 is about 0.12 US$. Sorry, but I couldn't resist. I also like the taste of the bananas better here. I hate bananas in Canada. I can also buy the tiny tiny bananas, about as long as your finger and as thick as your thumb. Very sweet but also 3X as expensive, considering the last bunch I bought cost about 12RMB but there was probably 10 in the bunch. However they are one bite bananas. from Canada (in China) michael_vandelaar <mike_vandelaar@...> wrote: And, last but not least, I used to eat 2 bananas per day (good source of potassium) but a cyclone ravaged our banana growing region which caused their price to go from around $2 per kilo to $14. A single banana costs over $2. Yipes. __._, --------------------------------- Feel free to call! Free PC-to-PC calls. Low rates on PC-to-Phone. And, I am not even going through tx.I think it must be mediacations, but never had this problem before.I stopped my pain med to see if it is the culprit, then I stopped my e-cig( I know -BAD_ but trying to quit.)been 4 days of nither of these and still dry mouth. I am wishing everyone courage, strength, and the will to keep fighting for your life! Serve with Love!! Thankyou to each and everyone for taking the time to post when some days are hard and we feel like crap. I sometimes give the puter a break for a few, the more I read the more I am scared. I am a non-responder who cannot touch interferon. Give it all you got, hepc will take all you got that is for sure. I pray for a 100% cure for all!
