Guest guest
Wing Wah is the BEST - you can only get in Hong Kong though. It is a blend of Witch hazel, Aloe and Thymol ( maybe a secret ingredient) but I use it for everything! > Do any of you have or know of a blend that would help an existing bruise? Guest guest
Effie~ I have heard that arnica is very good for bruises. I have never used it however. I do hope your bruise heals quickly...sounds painful. ( Hugs~ Tammy Gladheart Acres
Guest guest
A few drops of lavender in a carrier oil will also help. Lavender will help the tissue heal and is good for pain. Arnica is also excellent. Jerry
Guest guest
Oil infused with Arnica herb. I also add St. s wort and beeswax. Use it for my aches and pains with sports. I also bruise very easily, so it helps. Guest guest
Good Morning Listbuds. I agree that Arnica is wonderful. I always buy a cream " Traumeel, " an Arnica based cream, when I visit my family in Germany. Three weeks ago my four-year old grandson fell on the sidewalk and really got hurt. he had a bloody bruise 1/2 inch from his eye. After applying Traumeel, the " scar " turned pink with no scab in four days. A few more days of sunshine, and all evidence of the mishap will be gone. Guest guest
Effie, A couple of weeks ago I picked up a great herb book and I have looked up what they say are good things to use, there are a whole lot of things but the main ones that might be readily available at a health food store or in your pantry are Flax seed (you cook the seeds 'till they are soft and pulverize, put in a linen bag and apply warm) Arnica-very diluted solution must be used, Fresh Aloe, if you have one growing on your window sill. Figwort, Laurel,Thyme, Calendula, St. swort, Tansy, another thing thats good for bruises is Witch Hazel. Hope this is of some help to you--Keep those feet on the ground :0)) Sandy

Guest guest
I also suggest Arnica montana. I bruise easily to start with and if I take aspirin it is 10 times worse. You can get arnica at a health food store. It comes in both gels and pills. The gel never did much for me, but the pills clear up a bruise quickly. smiles, Lonie BRUISE Do any of you have or know of a blend that would help an existing bruise? I done a big OOOOP'S this afternoon. Tripped and fell backwards and as I was falling, I tried to grab the support post to break my fall and the inside of my arm from the wrist area to just below the crook of the elbow is bruised badly. I did ice it right away, but just thought I would ask if there was anything else I could or should be doing. Really don't want to go to a doctor; you know how it goes. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions anyone has. Thank you in advance. Effie
Guest guest
Lena, I am glad you got this checked out and that everything is okay! Have a great weekend and enjoy those juices....just be vey cautious with the green ones, okay? They are a bit much for us, and bring on some nasty reactions, like brain fog and numbness and tingling....try to stick with the carrot/apple or maybe make up some of your own combinations of favorite veggies. I still can't do green juices much, but that's okay, they taste nasty anyway! Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: lena_beck2004 Sent: Friday, July 11, 2003 11:55 PM Subject: Bruise Hello.I had bruises checked today (had explant Monday) and everything is fine. Apparently one side had a capsule that had been working its way near my underarm (lovely),so that area is more bruised because the doctor had to scrape deeper there. I have very little pain today fortunately but I am just tired. I am planning on starting some juicing tomorrow per Patty's suggestions (thanks again for posting all of the good info on the cleansing) and I've just been being lazy today. I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for your support. Prayers and Hugs,Lena
Guest guest
Patty, I made some carrot and apple today. It was so good! I will stay away from the greens for a while. Hope your weekend is good too. Prayers and Hugs To You, Lena > Lena, > I am glad you got this checked out and that everything is okay!
