Guest guest
Hi, I have an opinion. That is if your interested. I developed Leaky Gut Syndrome and it is most likely from drinking during my 20s and all the way up to the age of 47. Binging mostly. I would get drunker than a skunk and the next day feel like holy crap!! Sometimes it would be 2 days before I would feel back to normal. So, when i found out i had LGS i quit drinking and I was sick of it anyway. Time to put it down. So this May 28th will be 3 yrs. off any type of alcohol. Now the thought of it makes my stomach churn. As far as i know, i won't ever drink again, but i don't know. My life right now is so screwed up and i am so depressed and have so much anxiety mostly because of my living environment and my illness. I always feel ill and am in a lot of pain due to Fibromyalgia which is also caused by LGS. I also have heavy metal toxicity and candida I can not for the life of me get rid of. NO dr. both MD or naturopath have a clue how to help. SO the anger and the stress and pain are here to stay bcause no one will help me to get well or at least feel better. I have seen 16 doc's in all and am done with them. But yea, i see where you are comin from sorta. I don't have Hep. C but at one time i did and my body fought it off, so now I only have the antibody. Lucky i guess. BUT i do suffer daily all the time. And am going to forever until i decide to stop living. I will be damned if i am going to stick around and feel this sick and in this much pain for 20-30ish more yrs. I hope this helps ya and you find answers hon. BEK From: butchholland2002 <butchholland2002@...>Subject: [ ] Question/why alcohol makes me ill Date: Thursday, April 28, 2011, 10:25 AM HelloI have a question about alcohol but not because I have any desire to drink but because I can't get an answer to why it makes me sick. I used to love my Budweiser and Crown Royal, I loved the taste and smell but was never an alcoholic just a frequent connoisseur. About 5 years ago I had to quit because it started to make me very sick. Just the thought of smelling it makes me pukie. If I was to drink one weak mixed drink or a beer right now in 4 hours I would feel like I had been out all night doing shots of tequila and praying to the porcelain God.My liver functions are bad but not terrible and have had a pukie feeling for years now even without alcohol. Does anyone one else have this problem, is it normal or is this like so many of my other symptoms that are unexplainable. Any in-site at all would be helpful. I am glad I no longer drink and will never do it again, I would just like to have one problem that is fixable and am so tired of being sick and pukie feeling all the time.ThanksButch------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Butch, Have you tried Dr Berkson's supplements??? Don't tell me they are TOO EXPENSIVE. They are not. You can get everything you need for about $25 a month at Swanson online. IF you will take them according to HIS protocol, you will probably feel much better. Dr Berkson added D-3 to my vitamins as my vit D was low. I take a few other things as well--Try pro-biotics for the pukey feeling. I know you have been really broke--BUT NOW you have your check. Put some of it toward your health. Part of our feeling bad with Hep C is because we don't take care of our general health. It was not possible before for you--but it is now. What difference does it make if alcohol makes you feel ill if you are never going to drink it again??? Put your energies and thoughts toward what you are doing today and how you can feel better today. End of lecture--I do wish you to feel better!!!!!! Guest guest
Hello SuziQ I know you meen well but $25.00 is more than I can afford. I get $674.00 a month with 100 bucks coming right off the top for a doctor I have to have but medicaid does not have. That makes it $574.00 to pay utilitys, gas, food and other things for as basic of a life as I can pull off. Coming up with 25 dollars once may be doable but not every single month, I am trying the best I can. On the alcohol every responce I got it was asumed I want to drink again...I will NEVER drink again and don't want to. The reason I asked was something made me go from liking the taste and smell of it to getting deathly ill from just the smell or taste overnight. If I knew why it could be a clue to maybe fixing another problem. My whole body is in some sort of free for all with so many different things going wrong I lose track and all doctors can do is give me another pill that does nothing. I just want something fixed and I don't care what just something or at least an answer why. I was just hoping someone was having same problem and could give me a clue as to why so I could take it to my doctor not the local bar. I want to thank you and everyone for trying to help, My brain functons is becoming a new addition to my vast assortmant of unexplainable problems so I am sure I am not explaining things right. Hope is very hard to come by these days and just wanted some Take care and thanks again for caring. Butch > > Hi Butch, > > Have you tried Dr Berkson's supplements???
