Guest guest
Hi Ladies, I am definitely late wishing you all a Happy 4th of July! But it is still the weekend, so I hope you guys are all having a good one! Our family took off yesterday morning and went to the Colorado River down by Willow Beach, AZ, one of our newest favorite spots. We rented a 16 foot boat, and spent the day cruising the river, swimming, fishing, and just putzing around. It was really hot, so we took advantage of as much swimming time in the river that we could, it was great and I got lots of sun. I am way darker than I really want to be right now! We found an awesome camp spot on the beach and put up a tent and built a campfire, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows around it and then fell asleep on our sleeping bags under the stars, a totally wonderful and relaxing time. (Next time we won't bother with the tent, that was a waste of time!) No fireworks out there to celebrate the 4th, but an awesome display of the Milky Way and millions of stars under a night sky. I loved it. I am just so thankful that I can enjoy getting out and doing things like this again, after all I have been through from implants. A couple of years ago I would not have been able to enjoy a weekend like that, I would have been too tired and brain foggy to have taken part with joy. I forgot my thyroid meds, so I was feeling a little tired today, but I still feel better than I ever did not too long ago. I can't wait to go again! Probably next weekend...we bought a 2 man kayak, and I am excited about getting into kayaking! Cruising the river will be fun and great exercise at the same time. God bless everyone! I am so glad you guys are part of this group, you are a great group of women to know and I feel blessed that you have taken the time to share your lives and stories as we travel this breast implant journey together. May we all have healing in abundance and joy along the way, in spite of the trials, may we all be victors, not victims....and find close friends along the way. Hugs, Patty
