I am forwarding this right now to the wonderful women ... we will help you find the right women to interview. Best, Ilena Rosenthal www.BreastImplantAwareness.org From: mansi-bhatia@... ilena2000@... Subject: NBC 11 story regarding breast implants Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 16:46:26 -0500 Dear Ms. Rosenthal, I am an intern assisting nne Favro, the medical reporter, at NBC 11, San . We are interested in doing a sweeps story on the risks of saline breast implants that may be infested with toxic mold. Since you are the director of The Humantics Foundation for Women, we were wondering if you know of any patients who might have undergone a problem where their implants were contaminated. If you know of someone whom we can talk to in the bay area and tell her story, it would be most helpful. While informing women of the cosmetic enhancement that such implants provide we would really like to make them aware of the risks involved that include leaking, hardening, scarring, deflation and, in some instances, contamination. We would really appreciate if you could e-mail me at mansi-bhatia@... and I will call you back at a day/time convenient to you. Thank you so much for your help, Ms. Rosenthal. We appreciate it. Best, Mansi. ----- End forwarded message -----
