I disagree with your theory. I just know I never had any kind of

immune problems before implants, and post explant almost 3 years I

have no autoimmune disease at all. It could be that way for some, but

I don't think all of us were destined to have autoimmune disease.

Have you been keeping up with the stories lately? Most of the women

here were the picture of health when they got implants and got ill

over time with weird stuff. Most of us never get diagnosed with a

true autoimmune illness. Of course your entitled to your opinion, but

I know my body and know my situtaion and I know I would not have

gotten ill had it not been for implants.

Nope restoril is not an antidepressant. It is a benzodiazepine, as

are ambien, klonopin, valium, and a bunch of others I cannot think of.

I have a bunch of 10mg valium I got for anxiety when I was stressing

on finals and they do the same thing to me, knock me out in 10

minutes but I wake up several hours later, it sucks. Ambien is the

one that really does still work for me, I fear though eventually it

too, will stop. Antidepressants are SSRI's(selective serotonin

reuptake inhibitors) and they work very good for sleep as well,

trazadone is one, also elavil, but they have nasty side effects on

me, elevil will make you fat and trazadone makes me too spacy!

Good luck on the restoril. Be sure to make your Dr give you a script

for the 15 mg with the option to take 30mg a night, 15mg was never

enough for me. So I needed the 60 pills a month rather than 30.

hugs

Cool Vickie, try the one at first and if it does not work do two. I

always felt I needed two, like I said. I hope it helps, it sucks not

to sleep! My step daughter has add and also is not a good sleeper.

: I had a sleep study done about six years ago and the doctor said it was normal...except that "you dont sleep". I guess that's why he went to med school, huh. I get sooooo wound up thinking of what I need to do the next day. I've done all the standard/alternatives things suggested by friends and it doesnt work. I cleaned out all the clutter in my house, dont leave any projects unfinished at work, unless they are large then I do it in stages according to a to do list, wash all the dishes after dinner....hell I get soooo tired cleaning house you'd think I'd sleep!!!! I dont know if the Restroil is for me though. If I have a glass of wine with dinner, I get sick...prior to taking Restroil. The pharmacist said it has a culmlative effect (adverse reaction) with alcohol, unlike Ambien and that you should drink NO alcohol at all while taking Restroil and I do feel hung-over the next morning. But I'm going to give it the two weeks my doc suggested to become acustom to it and see what happens. Hope you feet feel better!

That is exactly why I am skeptical about the sleep study myself and

it being so expensive I don't see it being a good thing for me right

now. I have enough medical crap to pay for. I never really thought

about the drinking and the restoril since I don't drink at all. That

could be a bit of a problem I guess. Shoot that sucks doesn't it? Man

if I drank wine I would be knocked out, hee hee, probably cause I

never drink ever.

well hope you figure something out that helps, sleeping problems suck

so bad!

Hugs

PS if I could sleep like I do in the afternoons at night i would be

happy, I am a total napper, but I don't let myself just so I can

sleep at night, then I still am up about 3 times a night.
