Guest guest
I'm so upset. Finally was able to get my herbs started for the kidney cleanse. Soaked them- and was ready to heat but... why no metal pot??? Didn't have anything big enough to boil them in so I got a pyrex bread pan and poured in half of the mixture- and put it on top of the stove top to boil. Boiled it- then set it off to cool for a few minutes before I poured it and started the other half. AFTER it was off the burner- it decided to burst- all over my kitchen. I lost half of the herbs I started with. What does everyone else do for a non-metal pot? De in Texas On Thu, 24 Jul 2003 10:26:13 -0500 " L. I take daily 2-3 gel caps of flax seed oil and lecithin. There is some fat in my soy milk, and there is some fat in my diet, I just don't overdo it. I notice certain fats do cause more trouble than others, greasey foods that have been fried and fatty meats...I eat all meat lean. Eggs cause trouble. The bottom line is we have to get those stones out of there and build the liver, the source of the problem. L. Guest guest
De, where did you get the info to NOT use a metal pot? Perhaps the instructions are to avoid using aluminaum pots (which leach into the liquids cooked in them; aluminum is not good to ingest. -Can cause altzheimers.) Also, ceramic or glazed pots may have nicks in them and also absorb impurities. I believe that stainless steel pots may be good. Glass pots should also be good, but when cooling be very careful to NOT out them on a cool surface. This may cause them to explode. Other than that, I can't help you with why no metal pot. ~Suzanne hallelujahtreasures@j... wrote: > I'm so upset. Finally was able to get my herbs started for the kidney > cleanse.
