Guest guest
I'm new to this and wondering how do i know if I need a cleanse and is there any side effects if had one while I really don't need it? I am taking thyroid and cortef and other natural hormones to balance my hormones. Can I do the cleanse while I'm on those medications? thanks. Guest guest
> I'm new to this and wondering how do i know if I need a cleanse I personally feel....unless your are gravely ill and/or have too large of a " hardened " stone to pass...that everyone one could benefit from some from of this kind of cleanse. Keep in mind that 2 things used inthis diet are often found in LARGE quanities in the middle eastern and southern eruopean diets. These diets are designed, though many generation of observation, to naturally and continuely flush their systems. and > is there any side effects if had one while I really don't need it? > Side effects are often more likely to be because you needed the flush...not because you don't need it. Yes, there can be side effects while the oil is going through your system...which is why it is advised to do it on a day you have nothing planned. > I am taking thyroid and cortef and other natural hormones to balance > my hormones. Can I do the cleanse while I'm on those medications? > That is something you would have to decide for yourself. No one on this list can advise you what you should, or should not do, without sounding like their are trying to be a doctor. After 2 years of doing the flushes and being a part of this list, (though I must admit I haven't been logging in as much as used to....since it is kind of " not a problem " anymore :~), I can say I have not heard of any ill effects from doing the flushes and taking medications. The only real concern that may pop up seemd to be a possible decrease in the effectiveness of the medications taken...or an increase in thyroid function causing a possibility of symtoms of over medicating. Again, not proven, just possibilities that " might " happen. For your thyroid...if you still have one...you might want to look at trying extra virgin coconut oil. I believe you can find a group about it. I have heard a lot of good things about the VCO balancing out thyroid function. All of my possible thyriod dysfuction symptoms cleared up with the flushes and changing my food intake to raw food sources...which included VCO and untoasted or boiled sources of seaweed and sea salt.
