I have some of the symptoms that you have described ie; constipation, mild hearhburn & mild pains in right side, passing gas up far more than down. An Internal Specialist has determined small ammount of diverticulosis. I believe a qualified gastroenterologist is imperative to eliminate physiological conditions. MD's & Internal Specialist are, in my opinion " not fully qualified " . When they are finished & we are not satisfied - we are on our own. I have just started juicing, ordered two books " Raw Juices can Save your Life " & " Liver Cleansing Diet Book " by MD Cabot. www.weightcontroldoctor.com Besides juicing I've started Natures Way " Primadophius Reuteri " - Acidophilus, and, Pure-le All Natural Fiber - incredible stuff. Within one week symptons have subsided quite a bit. Inno Vite's Yeast Busters program is a great place to get informed. When gallbladder flush & parasite cleansing does'nt solve the problem, maybe we should look at candida (yeast) & adding high quality probotics & fiber to our diet and of course eliminating some junk from our diet. Hope that this is at least food for thought.
Guest guest
Have you tried a second opion? Turns out I am headed Thursday for surgery. I have stones, gravel and sludge Dr. says. Hope this is no big deal. I am kinda scared about what will happen but look forward to feeling better after a year of trouble with my gall bladder. ----- Original Message ----- From: wildsunflower2003 gallstones Sent: Monday, September 29, 2003 2:17 PM Subject: Frustrated and Confused ..... Update!! Hi everyone, Its been a while since I last posted...I just thought I would let you guys know whats going on with me. Well my doctor is still using that " wait and see approach " but somethign interesting has come up.I had my blood work done recently and my white blood cell count was elevated and of course the heartburn is still deiving me nuts.My cholesterol is still high despite some diet changes.Funny thing is she asked me " Did the doctor take out your gallbladder when you had your appendectomy?(i had my appendectomy 5/28/02)of course i said no.She has always suspected it was my gallbladder and my complaints seem to indicate that being the case.I had the upper G.I series and the ultrasound and of course things where normal again. It appears i have no stones.and nothing obstructing my bile ducts and or intestines. So i guess that's what prompted her to use the wait and see appraoch.Funny thing is I am still suffering from chronic constipation, heartburn, high cholesterol, and occasional mild pains in my right side.Do you guys think my pains my be contributed to gas from my constiaption?my heart burn and cholesterol from being overweight. Its been a year now and I dont know if its all in my head or if i have a real problem.I just dont know what to do anymore.I have a friend who claims to be suffering from cerrosis of the liver resulting from undected gallbladder disease.i just dont want to sit back and have that happen to me. Guest guest
you cuould also have sludge that doesnt show up well on many scans. I ve had sludge my whole time and never stones. They took the gallbladder because of the sludge. I had to have an ultra sound MRI CT scan in oprder for them to find it and I cant recall which one found it but ask abou t having those done FIRST> I also have been diagnosed with acid reflux now but Im not so sure thats what it is. I think its something to do with sludge as you STILL get stones and sludge after the gall bladder is removed. I now wish I had tried the flush first...I m having issues again but I have to be careful about doing aflush....I have a portal ven issue where it leans against the bile ducts causing less room for bile to go thru and a flush...well Im scared it may move things too rapidly and cause a vein issue! anyway try other xrays and stuff first and ask about sludge...I live near Yale so sludge is aproven thing! dont let anyone laugh at that! > Hi everyone, > Its been a while since I last posted...I just thought I > would let you guys know whats going on with me. > Well my doctor is still using that " wait and see approach " > but somethign interesting has come up.I had my blood work done > recently and my white blood cell count was elevated and of course the > heartburn is still deiving me nuts.My cholesterol is still high > despite some diet changes.Funny thing is she asked me " Did the doctor > take out your gallbladder when you had your appendectomy?(i had my > appendectomy 5/28/02)of course i said no.She has always suspected it > was my gallbladder and my complaints seem to indicate that being the > case.I had the upper G.I series and the ultrasound and of course > things where normal again. It appears i have no stones.and nothing > obstructing my bile ducts and or intestines. So i guess that's what > prompted her to use the wait and see appraoch.Funny thing is I am > still suffering from chronic constipation, heartburn, high cholesterol, > and occasional mild pains in my right side.Do you guys think my pains > my be contributed to gas from my constiaption?my heart burn and > cholesterol from being overweight. Its been a year now and I dont know > if its all in my head or if i have a real problem.I just dont know > what to do anymore.I have a friend who claims to be suffering from > cerrosis of the liver resulting from undected gallbladder disease.i > just dont want to sit back and have that happen to me. Guest guest
> Personally? and this is just me, speaking from a great deal of ecperience with " pain " ? I'd go take 4 Grams of Vitamin C, right now?and repeat it every six hours...? And if I felt better before the scheduled operation...? Then I'd keep my gallbladder. It's there for a reason, and it's sick for a reason. I'd fix it. > > > - Graves IBWB ( U.S.A. ) , What is the connection between vitamin c and gallbladder pain? How does vitamin c help?
