Hi guys....

First of all, Im 31, and had a DS/bpd weight loss surgery 9 months

ago....I was 503 and am now 377#.

I had my GB out laporscopicly in 95.........well as of last Thurs I

have had bad pain (like what a gb attack feels like) in my stomach on

the right side under my rib cage....went to the doc Monday...blood

work shows I have GB disease......HOW?? I dont have a GB! So I have

to have a Hida scan (CT wont work as it only goes to 350#) and an

ultra sound to see if I have a blocked duct.

Anyone else without a gb ever have this problem?

Talked to my wls surgeon in Mpls and he said thats what it sounds

like and he will do the surgery as well as fix my hernia (it was

fixed during wls 9 months ago but is back) and this time put a mesh

netting in there for added support.

Im freaking out about another surgery! OPEN SURGERY again, that is!

Ugh.

I know we can form gall stones when people lose weight rapidly....so

I assume this is what happend to me, but didnt know I could without a

gb.

Anyone else have this problem??

Hope to hear some good advice and feedback.

Thanks for the support :)
