Guest guest
Ihave had crohns for 25 years and its fairly maintained BUT now have portal hypertension. The vein leans agianst the bile ducts casuing clogging(gall baldder was roemoved) I still have to have ERCPS to clear the stones and sludge. I m hesitant to do this but it seems the only way to clear the ducts. I have no other medical alternatives. MY medical options have been life thratening surgery for the vein BUT if I dont have an ERCP done I wont bleed(fingers crossed) tat sees to be the only time i DO bleed SO I need ot keep those ducts cleanand clear! what syour take? should I? too risky? what? Perhaps a gentle form of cleansing would be better for you so as not to aggravate the crohns...I say that because I am guessing that the Epsom Salt purging before the flush may be to much? I have seen some suggest taking a couple of teaspoons or a tablespoon of olive oil and stirring into a cup of chamomile tea with fresh lemon juice from about 1/4 of a lemon...the chamomile will relax the intestinal system, and oil and lemon juice aid in cleansing. You should also be getting your good oils like lecethin and perhaps flax seed oil, I like flax seed oil as it has anti-inflammatory properties as well as the Omegas. Since you don't have your gallbladder to collect stones, it seems gentler forms of cleansing may work for you. L.
