Yes, a headache (I'm guessing in the front part of your head? Like above the nose sinus area?) is common...the gallbladder meridian (chinese medicine terms) that runs right through there, and is one place I really feel it during night of and day after the flush. Yes, you may feel some discomfort, may mean you need to do it again, may go away, let your body tell you. I apply heat to the uncomfortable areas, and (especially if lying on my back) it helps relax things so that more stones, sludge, whatever, move, but yes, tenderness is normal...especially this time of year with the holiday eating. If you passed a good number of stones, and things settle a bit, you can wait anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to do another flush. If you are uncomfortable enough, you'll want to do it sooner than later. L. Guest guest
It is common to get a headache. Possibly it's coming from the release of toxins. I find that drinking lots of water the day of the flush and in between the epsom salt drinks help. It is also common to have tenderness in the GB area. You've just " exercised " the GB a lot. It can also still be swollen from the original irritation. Do another flush in two weeks and repeat at 2 week intervals until you see no more stones. The symptoms of GB problems do not all disappear at once, but you should see a lessening with each flush. A castor oil pack is supposed to relieve the discomfort that you're feeling. Also make sure that you don't eat foods at the moment which stimulate the GB. -look in the group's links and files for more info.
