Guest guest
Hi Jodi, Just a thought - could it be that you are being successful in your efforts to detox? Did you know what to expect from detox? You may want to stop the things you started to see if these uncomfortable symtoms subside. If they don't, it may be something else that you need to get checked out. If they do stop great, but start back on your protocol at about half the rate as before. If no symptoms or minor bearable symptoms occur, increase gradually to your desired level. If you do have uncomfortable symptoms, stop again, half the dose again (half of the half that you started with) when the symptoms subside. No need to endure these symptoms. You took a long time to get where you are, and it will take a while to safely get cleaned up Vince --- In gallstones , " jodi " <meekiamyjie2002@y...> wrote: > i was started on a Fatty Acid, 2 times 2 daily and Red Clover 2 x 2 > daily, to help clean the toxians out of my system. Guest guest
Hi Cherie - I feel for you and I totally understand your sadness. It doesn't seem like this is the kind of illness that goes away overnight, and for some people it takes a few years for their bodies to bounce back. I also remember reading that sometimes the symptoms get worse after surgery, and then slowly start to improve. My body was already ravaged by the implants when I had the explants, so it wasn't at it's optimum condition. I'm definitely still having symptoms, and even though I would have loved to feel normal again right away, it seems to take longer. Some days are better than others - yesterday I had alot of fatigue, but today was a good day. The first week after the surgery, my heart was beating quite heavy, and I'd wake up in the night because my body was twitching. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that you are not alone - and please any time you're feeling depressed about the pain you're in, continue to reach out to us. You are not being selfish by any means, you have been through alot and you're fighting to get your health back. You are so brave for making the decision to get the implants removed, and I know sometimes I think " geez, what if it's really NOT the implants? " , but you know what, I never would have felt sane if I kept them in my body. I believe in time we will get the validation we are looking for, so be kind to yourself. I feel they would have continued to wreak havoc on my body, and then I would have never had a chance. Guest guest
Good morning, Cherie. I'm so sorry to hear how poorly you are feeling. You are not having a pity party, you are seeking support and encouragement. Don't ever feel bad about that. I hope today is a better day for you! Guest guest
Cherie, I had mine removed exactly four weeks ago and it seems to me that I was in terrible pain up till about the third week. I was taking Extra strength Tylenol and/or Aleve (q 4-8 hrs, as on bottle) non stop. I couldn't take the Vicodin, it was making me sick. I iced and that helped but it was hard to position ice bags so I could only do portions at a time. I took my temp at the end of the (4 or 8) hours just in case there was something going on that I needed to tell the Dr. And,as Rogene said, drank water constantly. The drainage tubes were a problem for me only in the sense that they seemed to hurt if they weren't laying just right. I would reposition the tubes to aleviate the pull. If any of this is helpful to you then good, but if not, I hope there are others out there who have more suggestions. And ,of course, if unbearable, you've got to consult your doctor or an emergency room. Good luck to you, I feel really bad for you. Guest guest
Rogene I may be detoxing too much - my natural doc has me on many supplements to help me detox. Also I am taking epsom salt baths because right after I take them I feel better. I have been drinking green tea and juicing organic fruits and vegies twice a day. I drink about three bottled waters a day. I am having a hard time giving up sugar though. I'm not sure if I am sick with some sort of virus, or maybe it's herxing. I'm sensitive to all over-the-counter pain meds, and only have hydrocodone. I had been off the hydrocodone for the last month since the surgery, but last night and this morning I was in so much discomfort that I took it. I also take Benadryl every day for my allergies, which I know I should stop soon. But without it I sneeze and itch all over. I know the prednisone would be bad to take, but it's so hard, because I know a steroid taper would get rid of my pain - for now anyway. I should probably throw them away, because they are a temptation. My doc was the surgeon who put the implants in. It was a good experience, and he agreed it was best to have them out. He assured me that he removed the capsules, and I don't think he would lie to me. I do have a little doubt in my mind only because the procedure only took an hour. I really do appreciate the support. My husband just feels so bad for me - that the pain never really goes away. I just keep telling myself that this is not all for nothing. My relationship with Christ has grown so much, and I know that He works out all things for the good for those who love him. I guess I just really wanted to get well immediately after the implants came out so that I would have no doubt that they were what was making me sick. When others say they have chest pain, do you know if they mean high in the chest, or in the breast area? Mine is high, from the middle - my sternum and out both clavicles and up into the neck. Rheumatologist and radiology said spondyloarthropathy (form of arthritis). Hugs back, Cherie > > Cherie, > > What have you been doing - or not doing? . . . > > If you are still working on detox programs, you need > to back off completely until you're feeling better. > Some people, like Kathie, have some very bad herxes! . > . . Guest guest
Cherie, Did you get a copy of the operative report of your explant to review? You can ask your surgeon for this. It is highly recommended. What you want to look for is the discussion in there of his removal of the scar tissue. He should have descriptions of the procedure and it should clearly discuss how he removed this tissue. My concern comes from the surgery only taking an hour. Usually a total capsulectomy on both breasts is going to take a bit longer. I am not saying he didn't do it...I am just wondering about it, especially since I've known women who were lied to. They were told that they were getting a total capsulectomy, only to read that report later and find out that only a portion of the capsule was taken out, not the whole thing. You might want to get that report, just to satisfy your own curiosity. If the doctor did what he said he did, I am sure he is not going to argue with you about getting copies of your records. In fact, what I did is create a 3 ring binder for my medical records, and I've had to refer to it several times. In there I have every copy of every record from implant through explant and all lab reports since. It keeps everything organized. I always ask for copies of medical records to have on hand at home. I just don't like how these doctors tell us things and then you find out in your records it says something else! Sad but true! You guys may want to create a similar medical record book, for future reference as well. Just a suggestion! God bless! Guest guest
Patty I would like to get the report. I just feel that he would think I didn't trust him by asking for it. I don't know if I can get my nerve up. > > > > Rogene > > I may be detoxing too much - my natural doc has me on many > > supplements to help me detox. Guest guest
Just tell him you want it to put in your medical file that you keep at home, to keep your records up to date. He shouldn't take that as a threat, (which no doctor should!) Patty > > > > > > Rogene > > > I may be detoxing too much - my natural doc has me on many > > > supplements to help me detox.
