Guest guest
Hi, I'm new here. I'm 38 and 13 weeks pregnant. This is my third pregnancy - the first two ended in miscarriage. I had terrible pain last Thursday night, and my husband rushed me to ER. They gave me morphine, and then the doc examined me, and then I was sent to ultrasound to rule out miscarriage. Luckyly, the baby was fine. But then the technician checked my gallbladder, and found several stones there. The ER doctor told me that my gallbladder needs to go out, but not while I'm pregnant. For the remaining 6 months, he recommends avoiding fatty foods, and he gave me tylenol 3 (with codeine) in case the pain comes back. I'm totally paranoid about the pain - it was the worst pain in my life so far - so I'm sticking to no-fat diet. So far, it's been fine. Greetings to everyone! -F
