Guest guest
My husband was recently hospitalized with what appeared to be a gallbladder/pancreatitis attack. He had been vomiting for two days with a fever and chills as well as severe abdominal pain just under the ribcage. At the hospital, they put him on an i.v. of potassium chloride and several heavy-duty antibiotics, the names of which I do not know, since he was extremely jaundiced. A rectal exam was done to determine if blood was in the stool, although that was negative. A sonagram was done the next day and no evidence of " stones " was visible on the films. The doctors suspect that a " stone " was lodged in the bile duct, created an inflamation, then was released, since his condition improved greatly over the next twenty-four hours. Can someone tell me the likelihood this will recur and whether or not to begin a cleansing regimen? (He stated to me that his stool was very green and somewhat loose in the hospital.) Could he have passed more stones? Also, I was reading the cleanse regimen for the six day cleanse on the Curezone site and I am cofused about the enema part. Does one take a coffee enema or a more cleansing type of enema? Does one take the enemas every day or just for two days? I do not want to experience the pain and discomfort my husband went through and I am quite sure neither does he. If the cleansing process will help us to prevent another " attack " then I may be able to start him on a schedule with me. Thanks. Guest guest
I had pancreatitis and it kept recurring till I got my gallbladder removed. But I did have stones in the GB and I tried the flushes but didnt find relief...If he doesnt have any visible stones I would say that probably wouldnt get sick from a cleanse. >From: " foofoo6520 " <foofoo6520@...> >Reply-gallstones >gallstones >Subject: Gallstone " attacks " and flushes >Date: Tue, 29 Jul 2003 07:19:42 -0000 > >My husband was recently hospitalized with what appeared to be a >gallbladder/pancreatitis attack. Guest guest
I think it is wonderful that you are doing all of this research on his behalf. I hope you find information that helps you. This site has a lot of great links, testimonials, and help for anyone wanting to do a gallbladder cleanse. I haven't really been very interested in the idea that parasites are the root of all health problems, but I stumbled across some information today that will have me taking my anti-parasite herbs more faithfully. It said that parasites in the digestive tract can actually BLOCK the bile duct and cause all kinds of other problems, so you might want to pay attention to the parasite info right along with the gallstone information. Oh, with the green runny stools, it does sound like your husband might have passed some stones. I'll tell you my experience with the coffee enema: I don't drink coffee, but I went to the trouble of brewing some coffee for an enema (supposed to help with parasites) and I even added some garlic to it to help get rid of more parasites and I was carrying this upstairs to my personal bathroom and the handle of the jug broke and I spilled a very strong mixture of garlic coffee all over my stairs!!! Soooo.... after I cleaned that up I opted for the simpler Epsom salt enema. I don't have a clue if it helped or not -- at that point I was just trying to follow directions. But, I haven't had any problem with bugs on my stairs! Sorry, it wasn't on the Internet, it was just a little flyer that came in my mail. It was trying to sell me an herbal cleanse regimen. It had lots of pictures of horrible parasites -- nothing worse than I've seen from the links here, though. Luci
