Leah:

This is the other .

I drink 8 ounces a day everyday flushing or not. I started with 4 ounces

that I cut with water and added lemon juice -- about 15 drops since I did not

want to start a flush inadvertently in the beginning. The malic acid in the

apples soften the stone.

Grated apples are good too.

When flushing I run it on up.

The reason is as the other said -- it softens the stones. If you

accidentally flush, like Jay reported with his pork roast, your stones are

already

softened and less apt to get stuck anywhere.

Glad you got a good deal on your juice.

How big was the can? I drank 4 ounces plus 4 ounces of water for about a

week, then 8 ounces of apple juice -- sometimes more as a normal daily practice.

I make herb tea in the morning, then cut it with the apple juice and do not

eat anything for an hour plus to let the herb tea and apple juice cleanse the

system some before the food starts. Look for Mama's daily practices somewhere

in the archives within the last 3 -4 weeks. She made it simple and its similiar

to what I do.

Thanks again for the info. on anti-spasmodic meds. Sadly, I emailed my

M.D. (who is pretty open-minded) for a prescription, and he states that

anti-spasmodics are not very effective for gallstones! Hmmm. I doubt he

reads this website. So, I'll either try another M.D. in the practice ,

or hope for no attacks.

I'm drinking lots of apple juice and grapefruit juice. I'm thinking of

doing my first flush after my house move next week (Val's experience was

certainly inspiring).

Thanks for the reply! Softer stones sound like better stones to me.

I am from Windsor Ontario. I took the kids out to Leamington today (45 min.

into our county) to Colasanti's (small zoo, plants, food, games, etc). There

is an apple juice and tomato factory across the street, and I was excited

about scoring the apple juice!

Thanks. I felt a stone move just a few minutes ago and I have been worried

about accidentally flushing. I don't want the stones to get stuck somewhere

where it's going to cause an attack! So I was pretty scared. I drank one can

of apple juice and a couple glasses of water in the past three hours. Does

this sound okay??

Don't know what part of the U. S. you live in, but suspect that any Chinese

herbalist will have Gold Coin Grass along with information on how to use it. I

live in the Puget Sound - Washington State area and Chinese herbalists are

rather easy to find in this area.
