Guest guest
You don't absolutely have to take epsom salts with or without a gallbladder, but it helps to relax the bile ducts to assist in moving the stones out. You'll still get the pressure to move the stones, but without the epsom salts, the ducts could hinder the stones from all getting out. You may not get as many stones out without the epsom salts. THe biggest stones would have the hardest time getting out, and would be the most likely to remain in you. Vince > Do I need to take espom salts for a flush if I don't have a > gallbladder? Guest guest
Vince, my doctor said I had large gallstones and needed surgery. Since I haven't had any symptoms from them I have put off surgery. Are there gallstones TOO large to pass even with the flush? Would they be likely to become stuck in duct? I do NOT want to have surgery. But don't want undue pain to cause me to have to go to hospital. It seems when having a GB attack people are most apt to go along with surgery. Guest guest
Hi Judith, I'm sorry to hear about your large gallstones. I wish I could give you a definitive yes you can flush and everything will be ok... I can't do that, even though many people have avoided surgery by flushing many huge gallstones. Others have had badly diseased gallbladders (thickened walls) and couldn't pass relatively small gallstones. The odds of you doing a successful flush are overwhelmingly in your favor. You need to do more research (you have more time than many others have had since you have no symptoms) and put into practice a gallbladder friendly and stone reducing diet right now. Then, after more research about all the risks however small, make a decision and plan your next step. You may decide to keep on the diet for a while and flush later. You may decide to take the plunge now and flush. What ever you decide, it has to be your decision based on knowledge that you don't necessarily have yet. Read our archives. To to www.curezone.com and check all the gall bladder/liver flushing forums and articles. Read the links at the bottom of our posts. Once you do a liver cleanse, which is the same thing as a gall bladder flush, you really need to keep doing them at 2 week intervals (if you can't do them that often, do them as soon after two weeks as you can). Doing one isn't enough. Even if you get hundreds of large stones the first flush and feel like a million dollars there's more where they came from. After giving your body a couple of weeks or more break, you will have more stones moved into position to be flushed. You need to continue flushing until you stop getting stones. There are lots of types of flushes out there, I would recommend you stick with the one(s) that use epsom salts due to your large stones because it relaxes the ducts for easier passage of the stones. Dr. 's " Cure for all Diseases " says this: " How safe is the liver cleanse? It is very safe. My opinion is based on over 500 cases, including many persons in their seventies and eighties. No one went to the hospital; no one even reported pain. However it can make you feel quite ill for one or two days afterwards, although in every one of these cases the maintenance parasite program had been neglected. This is why the instructions direct you to complete the parasite and kidney rinse programs first " . Another quote from the good Dr. : " There is no pain [during the flush] because the bile duct valves are open (think you Epsom salts!) " . You have made a great start by realizing that the doctors don't know everything and you did well to question whether there was a way to avoid surgery. Many people can attest to the fact that you can pass huge gallstones and avoid surgery. There are, however, those who tried flushing and ended up in surgery anyway. If you look closely at their stories, you can learn from both groups. That's what I try to do. If I were you, I'd make the decision my way; but I'm not you My prayers are with you, Vince > > Vince, my doctor said I had large gallstones and needed surgery. Years ago I had gallbladder attacks, learned that they were caused by eating junk food and high fat foods. Now I have been doing liver flushes about once a month for the last year and I feel awesome.
