Guest guest
Hello I'm new to the group. About 4 years ago during routine blood tests for life insurance it was found that I had elevated liver enzymes. I had no apparent problems or symptoms of other problems. My doctor said it was probably nothing but sent me for an ultra sound where it was discovered I had gall stones. The following year I had my gallbladder removed but did not follow up with blood tests until last year to see if the elevated enzyme problem was solved. I used to take 20 different vitamins, herbs and so forth each day so prior to having my blood work done I stopped use of all supplements and pain medications (for headaches and muscle aches). To my surprise my enzyme level was still slightly elevated. A month and a half later, abstaining from anything that may have an affect on the liver, I had the test repeated and my enzyme levels had trippled! A week before this test I was subected to some noxious fumes and though perhaps this accounted for the increased level. I'm to repeat the tests in another two months to see if the fumes caused the problems. In retrospect, after having done a limited amount of research on gall stones I think that what I considered muscle spasms may indeed have been symptoms of gall stones. I work out daily, cardio and weight training so I always chalked up these back pains between the shoulder blades as training injuries. There also used to be bouts of indigestion and slight abdominal pain that perhaps could have been the result of gall stones. After my gall bladder was removed I figured that would be the end of gall stones, but after reading the posts here, I'm now wondering if I'm still subject to gall stones in the liver. On occasion I still get the sharp pain between the shoulder blades and a full feeling in the liver area. After the last blood test with the extreme elevation of enzymes I was sent for a CT scan but nothing was found. A few weeks before the blood test I had a recurrance of the back pain, but only for a few hours. During the course of this problem over the past four years none of the pain had been extreme or required hospital or doctor visits. I'm a bit confused now as to what may be my problem with the enzymes.
Guest guest
> After having my 3rd gallbladder attack in 2 months I finally went to the Traci, what bad timing. Breastfeeding, new baby, gallstones. I feel for you. After I did my first cleanse, I started drinking wheatgrass juice. I buy the freeze dried from www.dyna-green.com and mix it with apple juice once a day. At about 3 days, i would start dumping gallstones just during a normal day. I would stop after about day 4 or so as it was a little tough on my intestines. I also take Dandelion daily which really helps me with pain, etc. I would think these would be safe for you and your little one, but please do your own research first. I honestly do not know. With all the things I am doing, I would think these would be the safest. Don't forget to change your diet and try to follow the principles in the Liver Cleansing Diet book by Cabot (www.liverdoctor.com). When you have finished breastfeeding, you can really hit the diet as intended. Hopefully this will help you get started. If anyone on this list has opinions, please advice also. Good luck. csc

I have a friend that went through a series of colonics and they gave her fresh wheatgrass after one of her sessions. That's when I started reading up on it. So she found this website, ordered some, let me try it and the rest, they say, is history. Good luck! csc
Guest guest
HI Traci, Don't forget to drink tons of water. Water is so important when you have gallstones. I believe chronic dehydration contributes to gallstones. Read water cure on Curezone.com For me that helped tremendously as far as the gallstone attacks. Dandelion juice and chop them up in your salads as well organic of course. Carrots You must exercise and hour a day since you have a new baby, maybe power yoga or pilates. You can get a good pilates or yoga Dvd at k mart or wallmart or anywhere, get yourself a matt and do it at home Vit. C very important so get yourself some frozen berries or fresh, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries Eat a cup of each througout the day or supplement. I prefer natural way Green tea of course Lecithin granules, now vitamins has a great non-GMO brand of lecithin granules http://www.vitaglo.com/vitaglo/lecgrannon1l.html I'll let you know if I think of anything else. Also the diet and exercise way requires patience but eventually the pain will go away. denise --- Traci <tracic@...> wrote: > After having my 3rd gallbladder attack in 2 months I > finally went to the > hospital – this last one was 2 ½ hrs.
