Guest guest
I am a bit disappointed with the posts the I have seen on this list in the few weeks I have been here. Some people seem to be implying or overtly stating that it generally takes between 3 and 8 flushes to clear all of one's stones out. Hi, Tony: I don't post on here much anymore because I had to have my GB removed in late June of this year. But keep in mind that everyone on here is different. This is a place for sharing. What works for one person, doesn't always work for another person. Some people get rid of their stones pretty quickly because they don't have too many. Some it takes a long time. However, in my case had I know that I needed to continue doing the cleanses until all were completely gone, I may still have my GB. I skipped a year from cleansing because I was feeling fine, but then I found out that I really should have gotten all of them out. When I started cleansing again in Feb. 2003, almost a year from the day of my last cleanse, I just did rather poorly and had a major GB attack in early March. Then I came home and after feeling better in a week or two, started preparing for a cleanse again. I had a major attack on April 25th, went to ER and they did an ultrasound and there were two small stones stuck at the mouth of my GB. That is all I had. So I did a cleanse around May 15th and felt kind of good for a couple of weeks, then started getting ill with lots of diarrhea and stuff. I thought it was a stomach virus. But in mid-June I woke up running high fever and started the juandice. Turns out that I did pass my little stones, but they were in my bile duct. One was stopping up the bile into my pancreas. So I had pancreaitis and had to go to another hospital. I then passed the one giving me the juandice, but the other was in there still. I had an ERCP to remove it, then the next day I had GB surgery. I was in the hospital about 5 1/2 days total. So if you've still got stones coming out, just keep on doing those cleanses until you're free. And like I said, everyone is different. BTW, some of the doctors didn't treat me very kindly because of the cleanses. The ultrasound doctor in the second hospital that I went to was a real jerk and was constantly griping about my large bile ducts!!! The surgeon was very kind, though, and he was a good surgeon. I didn't have health insurance, so you should see the price of my bill, but the surgeon dropped quite a big chunk off his bill.
