Guest guest
Hi, Edie: Oh, I surely feel for you. I had to have my GB out last year in mid-June. I had done the cleanses for over 3 years and they helped me. I also did my cleanses when I was irritated, which I know isn't the best way. Also, I never had health insurance. My husband and I are self-employed and insurance cost is out of this world to us. We are not poor enough either to get some kind of state or county health aid, but we're not well-off enough to afford decent insurance. So listen, have you taken any magnesium to help you? I took Magnesium Citrate capsules that Solaray puts out. It helped me. Also, I bought some stuff called Beta-TCP put out by Biotics Research which I took when I ate a meal. I took three of them with a meal and they seriously helped me with no pain at all. These are made for people with GB problems. This went on for a long, long time, well over a year. But possibly my system just got used to them. They are not expensive. Another thing, I would drink some organic apple juice just about every day, maybe several glasses. It would help if you had a sonogram to see what size your stones are. I had several small ones, they say, although I passed some one-inch stones that were dark green with aqua streaks in them, which could have been from my liver. I also passed loads and loads of sand-looking stuff. Actually, I passed all kinds of stuff over those years. It was amazing. Since you're having pain, I would lay off the chicken broth. It's usually kind of greasy when you're having attacks. I really don't know what to tell you because one thing works with one person, another person has to do something else, but if you'll study Dr. Cabot's books, you'll get a very good idea about what healthy fat is, which we all need, and the fats you need to stay away from. I'll have to look her website up for you later. Last I knew it was liverdoctor.com Anyway, I hope that you can get some relief. Oh, once I was having an attack while we were on vacation and I took some epsom salts. It went away in about 20 mintues. So you might could try that. Let us know how you're feeling. Take care, Susie
Guest guest
Hi Edie, >>>Anyone have any tips on getting through these attacks?<<< I should leave the other questions to the experts here, but when I feel an attack coming on I followed the advice on Curezone to use 1 cup of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice with 1 tbsp epsom salts and it works wonders. Within 20 mins you should feel much better, but you need to be near a restroom for the next few hours, once it goes through your system. As I was told, though, it is only a quick fix and you still should do the complete liver flush protocol. Blessings, n
Guest guest
Hello everyone! I am in the middle of another extremely " bad spell " ....attacks for the past two nights (this has been going on for several weeks)....I'm now eathing NOTHING but jello and drinking broth and other fluids....anything to keep the pain at bay! A little history.....I started having these attacks about 16 years ago and have been told it was anxiety, then ulcers, then a hiatal hernia. Just a couple of months ago, I went to the ER and was told it was probably my gallbladder and to see a doctor. See, I have no medical insurance, thus I was treated like a thrid class citizen. I'm not " poor " so I can't get state or county hospital aid....nor can I afford health insurance through my husband's plan....they require we pay for maternity benefits although I am WAY done with having kids! LOL! Anyway....I recently signed up for a discount health care plan that should at least get me into a doctor's office without having to take out a second mortgage....should have my card in a week...(God, hurry up!) I did have some questions for the group..... Has anyone did the cleanse while they were inflamed and having attacks like this? What was the outcome? Is it dangerous to do the cleanse while inflamed like this? Is there any natural supplement, teas or anything I can take to help with my distress now? Anyone have any tips on getting through these attacks? Finally....any warning signs that I should just high-tail it to the ER are collapse on the door step? :0) Thanks everyone......I really do need some friendly banter and support on this....my poor husband can do nothing but stroke my hair and gaze at me pitifully! LOL! Edie
Guest guest
The hiatal hernia can act like both a heart attack and a gall bladder problem. I've had/have one. If Pepto Bismo and/or the host of antacids helps, then that's what it is - along with acid reflux. (Search the web for acid reflux for symptoms of that.) If not, try one of the easier flushes. However, if it's the hiatal hernia/acid reflux the citrus juice will make the problem much worse. Jay Edie wrote: Hello everyone!
