Guest guest
I'm planning to start trying some liver/gallbladder flushes soon. I have periodically read through parts of curezone. I have some questions: 1) Why do/would we keep reforming stones? What is wrong in our diet/lifestyle? Nature doesn't usually make mistakes. 2) Does anyone know the work of Kane, who wrote 'The Detoxx Book' and her program is the Detoxx Box. She talks about cleansing the liver/gallbladder/biliary tree through high potency phosphatydil choline. SHe gives IV infusions or you can dose orally, and her recommended liver flush also uses PhosChol, bile salts, butyrate. I would like to understand how this compares to the typical liver flush with olive oil, lemons, etc. Does phoschol, since its a part of lecithin, " scrub " away or emulsify stones/clogged fat in the liver/gallbladder? Can anybody do some reading and weigh in on this for me? 3) DO people do colon cleanses after the liver flush, commonly, in order to help flush out the toxins? My intention now is to learn how to use a home colema which I recently bought, and when I get comfortable weith it, to start liver flushes 4) In terms of softening stones, is anyone familiar with Dr. Larry 's recommendation (his site can be found on the web), but here is what he recommends, including phosphoric acid drops and magnesium. Any thoughts about this, softening stonees ahead of time etc: ) For 6 days, eat well, take your nutritional supplements and take 90 drops (30 drops three times a day) of phosphoric acid drops daily. I have these available if you cannot find them in a store. Some people recommend drinking as much apple juice as possible. However, this is not necessary and is too sugary. Also take about 200 mg of magnesium (chelate, citrate or other quality product) three times a day, one tablet with each meal. The phosphoric acid and magnesium help soften stones and dilate the bile ducts. 2) At noon on the sixth day, eat a normal lunch with supplements, phosphoric acid drops and magnesium. Two hours after lunch, do a 1- quart coffee enema using 2 tablespoons of coffee, along with 2 tablespoons or 1/4 cup of Epsom salts in the enema. Retain this enema for 15 minutes. 3) At suppertime, have a normal dinner with supplements, and be sure to have fat with the dinner, such as 2 tablespoons of butter on vegetables or some real whipped cream as a salad dressing. 4) At bedtime, do one of the following: a) Take 1/3 cup of olive oil followed by some lemon or other juice if the taste is objectionable. Take 1/3 cup of olive oil blended with 1/3 cup of orange, grapefruit or diluted lemon juice. c) Take 4 tablespoons of olive oil followed by 1 tablespoon of fruit juice every 15 minutes until one has take 1/3 cup of olive oil. If nausea occurs during this procedure, it indicates stimulation of the gall bladder. Finish the procedure. If vomiting occurs, just continue and do not add more than the planned amount of olive oil. 5) Immediately upon finishing the oil, lie down on the right side with the right knee drawn up toward the chin for half an hour. This is to assist emptying of the oil out of the stomach. 6) If ill during the night, one may take another strong coffee enema with Epsom salts. 7) In the morning, if nauseous try to remain in bed until it passes. Upon arising, take another coffee enema with Epsom salts. If nausea continues after the procedure, eat lightly and skip supplements for a day or two. THANX in advanc for all resopnses
Guest guest
Hi, Jill: I am VERY new at this, but thought I would respond to your colon/home Colema question. I just completed my first liver cleanse two days ago and I followed s Moritz's advice to do a few colonics prior to my first cleanse, one the day of the cleanse, and then I just did one yesterday which was a day after the cleanse. He recommends the initial ones to get out old debris which will help to keep stones from getting trapped in the colon. If you've never done a colonic, you could have years of stuff (I've read 10 lbs. of extra fecal matter) trapped in your colon causing different kinds of problems, according to him and others. Doing it the day of the cleanse is a great prep and then within a few days after in order to release any stones that may have become trapped in your colon (which I did see evidence of). All I can say is from my VERY LITTLE experience with colonics that I have felt fantastic afterward with great mental clarity and a great feeling of well-being. I use a Colema board (but have never had a professional colonic), and like the privacy aspect of it (plus if you plan on doing many colonics, it should save you money). I was VERY nervous the first time I used it and it was a bit uncomfortable, lots of cramping. But, I did get " a lot " in return! (in the toilet I mean....sorry, don't mean to be gross....:0).....) If you are uncomfortable and nervous, have someone else at home just in case you need assistance. I don't know. Everyone has their own experiences. I've done lots of different types of " cleanses " (bowel, parasites, kidney, fasting, etc.), but this was my first liver/gallbladder cleanse and my first experience with colonics. My boyfriend has been doing the same cleanses along with me and he doesn't seem to have benefited as much as I have. (I am probably more clogged up than he is!) For me, these were two of the better things I've done for myself over the years because I felt results almost immediately, so I know " something " is working to benefit me. I've not read/heard of terribly adverse reactions with either, but there could always be an exception, I guess. With the colonics, it seemed like with each colonic I did, the results lasted longer. The mental clarity and feeling of well being has kind of taken the sharp edge of life off for me. I do hope it lasts! Guest guest
Thanx Bonnie. I am hoping to do the colema this week. I also prefer the privacy--and save the $ (the board cost $124 new, including shipping and all the parts except a bucket which I got for 99 cents!). It means I can stop if I'm uncomfortable and try again another day. I am planning just what you say, a few colemas and then a liver cleanse. Can you tell me how you did your liver cleanse (what you used, there are different ones). Thanx.
Guest guest
Hi, Jill: I used Hulda's recipe with a few additions from s Moritz: drinking one quart of apple juice a day for the 5 days leading up to the cleanse and then also a quart on the day of the cleanse (prior to the 2:00 pm cut-off point for liquids). The apples help to soften the stones. And, of course, the colonics prior to, the day of, and within a couple of days after. Here's a copy of Hulda's recipe in case you don't have it already. http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/huldas_recipe.asp Good luck and let us know how it turns out! Guest guest
The recipe you post here sounds an awful lot like the one Bonnie gave us a link to in message #15499... hers emphasizes whipped cream, but both have you taking phosphoric acid while eating normally for several days, then coffee enemas, and pretty much all the rest. I don't know the answers to your other questions. It's possible that everyone makes the soft gall-stones and that only some of us have a problem with them, or keep them in our gall-bladders long enough for them to calcify. Maybe pregnancy and/or being overweight pushes the gallbladder into an unhealthy position in our abdominal cavity and keeps us from being able to easily expell gall-stones. And other people who don't meet those categories could just have smaller bile ducts or something. Luci > I'm planning to start trying some liver/gallbladder flushes soon.
