Guest guest
--- No, I didn't take any epson salts or anything else...I wasn't prepared at all. I did however, pop a vicodin....:0) Didn't take the pain away...but I was a bit oblivious....lol! I'm one of those people who is VERY sensitive to narcotics. So, you really feel it may have been a stone passing through? It did seem different, odd and the pain seemed to be moving. As far as passing a stone....I had a question. I know this sounds gross, but there is no easier way to put it! If I have a solid BM, the stone could be encased inside rather than floating? I'm not really one for poking around the toilet afterward to find out! LOL! Just curious! Thanks so much for your help...I really appreciate it! Guest guest
Hi Edie, I'm obviously not MAMA, but hope I'm not out of line diving in here with an opinion. I think you are absolutly right that who knows how many stones are passed normally or by our efforts if we have reasonably solid bowel movements. I and others have reported a " natural " miniflush after eating a high fat meal. I wouldn't have known it, except several green stones were visible in a solid bowel movement when I wasn't even doing a flush procedure... O had been too busy to eat all day, and when I had garlic cooked roast beef that night it caused a flush of gall stones. Makes me think that we don't need to get too hung up on all the details of which flush we do. Just pick one and go for it... Guest guest
>>>No, I didn't take any epson salts or anything else...I wasn't prepared at all<<< Ah well, next time - if there is one - you'll be better prepared ) >>>So, you really feel it may have been a stone passing through?<<< Yes, What you described is identical to what many of us have experienced in the past. >>> As far as passing a stone....I had a question. I know this sounds gross, but there is no easier way to put it! If I have a solid BM, the stone could be encased inside rather than floating? I'm not really one for poking around the toilet afterward to find out! LOL! Just curious!<<< Yes, it *is* gross lol and yes, the stone/s could be unseen unless you go looking for it. The instructions I have read go as follows: Use a sieve to catch your motion, if the motion is watery only the stones will be caught in the sieve. If the motion is formed wash it down the waste with the showerhead to see what you end up with. Blessings Mama.
