Guest guest
<My first flush had the same kind of rocky experience you had at about the same time of night. I thought I was gonna die, and then wished I would.> Well, it's nice to know that, theoretically, it gets easier. I did my first flush over the weekend and I still feel like crap! I went through three quarts of apple juice plus a daily apple the few days before the flush. I was pretty much following a protocol I got from the local health food store. It calls for dissolving 4 Tbs of Epsom salts into 3 cups of water, and then chilling. I didn't follow the same time line (bed at 10 p.m.) so I started a little later. Took the first dose (3/4 c) at 8 p.m. and the second dose at 10 p.m. I had planned to drink the olive oil mixture at about midnight and then hit the sack, but was still too busy running into the bathroom every ten minutes, and knew there was no way I'd be able to lie still for 1/2 an hour, so I waited until 1 to drink the oil mix. One of the flushes I'd read called for 1/2 c of olive oil - another for 1 c. so I split the difference and opted for 3/4 c mixed with grapefruit juice. I mixed it all up in the blender. Taste wasn't bad, but I almost gagged anyway 'cause of the oily feeling in my mouth, but I got it all down. Went to bed. Slept very fitfully, but didn't have to get up and use the bathroom. Next morning, first thing, another 3/4 c of the Epsom salt mixture. I certainly flushed out lots of junk. Tons of green pea stuff (I'm still not convinced those are stones,) then a lot of pellet looking thing-y's. Reminded me of dry pet food floating around - assorted sizes and shapes but none too large. I couldn't work up the energy to do the fourth dose of Epsom salts. Breakfast was an apple and a banana. Felt miserable all day Sunday, but thought it was due to lack of sleep as much as anything else. Slept pretty well Sunday night. Yesterday, I was achy and had a headache all day. My abdomen hurt. I couldn't go to the bathroom. I finally tried a lemon juice, cleansing enema, last night. It helped some, but there was no way I could do it properly. Colon just too tender to retain it for longer than a minute. A little better today, but not much. I want to try a coffee enema, but I still haven't had a regular BM, and the whole abdominal area is till very tender. It's funny, I've gone through the protocol for a colonoscopy twice now. Never had any problem getting the system going again. But, it sure isn't functioning normally yet! Pat
Guest guest
> I read somewhere (can't remember where) that for > every four liver > flushes you do, you should flush the kidneys. Is > this true? And how do > I flush the kidneys? I use a combination of herbs called JP-X to cleanse my kidneys, and drink plenty of liquids. It also helps if you tend to have kidney infections...will stop symptoms of the infection in a couple days, but should be taken for a while...I use up a bottle when I use for a cleanse. Important to drink enough pure water, though. JP-X: http://www.mynsp.com/web/meydrech/products.jsp?stocknum=12227 ===== L.
