Guest guest
Hmm. Well, I've only done 2 flushes myself but I've never drank the epsom salts at 2pm. I've had them at 6pm, 8pm then again around 6 or 6:30am the next morning and again 2 hours later. Were you actually trying to flush stones? Did you drink your mixture of olive oil and grapefruit ir lemon juice? I don't know if you just left out some of the info when you posted or you actually didn't follow the directions of the flush. My two flushes have been incredibly successful and I followed Dr. Hulka s flush to a T. Guest guest
The " normal " time for Epsom salts ingestion is at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM followed by the oil and grapefruit at 10:00 PM. I've only taken it at those times. I find that the action begins anywhere from 2 to 4 or even 5 hours after taking the Epsoms. How much or how little you ate that day shouldn't have affected it because the Epsom salts causes water to fill into your colon and you will vacate water even if your colon is empty. Don't have an answer as to why you didn't experience a bowel cleanse. Did you use the ratios of 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts to 3 cups of water? And then drink 3/4 cup of water each time? Jay ----- Original Message ----- From: lezoise<mailto:lezoise@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Tuesday, March 09, 2004 12:31 PM Subject: epsom salts didn't work fast enough I tried a cleanse on Sunday. I took the epsom salts at 2 and 6 and by 8pm I gave up that any bowel action was gonna happen. I only ate breakfast of a bowl of oatmeal, so did I fast too much? Once I broke the fast, giving up on the cleanse, my bowels then moved. This is not my first cleanse, more like 4th? and the epsom salts have never taken that long. Any input? Guest guest
Hi Kate, I've had a couple of flushes like that, but continued with the flushes as planned. I still got some stones out each time. In spite of the epsom salts, my first bowel movement was the day after the flushes. My first few flushes were as expected with diarea before bedtime, but after a few flushes I had a couple like yours. I don't know why that happened, but I decided it was time to do a thorough bowel cleanse. That's when I discovered flax seed and how easy it is to nourish and strengthen the bowel naturally by chewing a teaspoon once every other day to twice a day depending what my body tells me to do. Having my bowel more cleaned out before the day of the flush seems to help. My other flushes have been more productive. Vince > I tried a cleanse on Sunday. Guest guest
Thanks for your replies- Vince, Craig and Jay. I have done bowel cleansing, and I want to do another one, but I wanted to do the liver cleanse first. I asked my body what it wanted through muscle testing and it wanted a liver cleanse first. Here's the protocol I followed (H. 's) http://www.drhuldaclark.org/liver_dr_hulda_clark.htm and I now see I was supposed to fast after 2pm and then start at 6. I really did about this (same hours between eating and starting) I ate breakfast around 8am and then started at 2pm. I was afraid of throwing up the oil mixture since I had not moved my bowels, and I really wasn't feeling great. I bet I was a wee bit (or more) dehydrated. So no, I didn't continue the cleanse and take the oil mixture. The other thing I did differently was stuff the epsom salts into gel caplets. I cannot drink the ES without gagging anymore. I have done this the last 2 flushes and it works fine for me. I read about doing that on curezone. It does take a bit longer to get bowel action, but not as long as it did this time. Oh well, I will try again. I also have taken the flax daily for about 4 years. I grind mine and put it in milk (then chug it down), but I haven't been doing this for about 3 months being on a special diet. Kate > > I tried a cleanse on Sunday.
