Guest guest
I began the flushes about 6 years ago after finding it on the " Ask Tom " alternative health site, before " Hulda 's " name became attached to it. I've had a pretty normal SAD diet most of my life (I'm now 72) with the exception of a period about 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and scheduled for prostate removal. I cancelled my surgery much to the chagrin of my surgeon, went on the McDougall diet and ate lots of raw garlic (still eat garlic) for about a year, then gradually reverted to SAD. To this date I have had no observable recurrence of any kind of prostate cancer - they can't find it though 10 years ago they found some through a biopsy. I didn't think much of the gallbladder flush after I did the first one and through the Ask Tom site told them that no stones came out, just chaff and informed them I was quitting the flushes. The individual who answered my email encouraged me to continue stating that chaff is sometimes all that comes out at first and is in fact what plugs up the lines in the liver before stones emerge. That's why I'm convinced that most of the stones don't come from the gallbladder but from the liver itself and that you are not just cleaning the gallbladder but the liver is the main recipient of cleansing. I did the flushes probably about every 2 or 3 months from #2 through #11 and (this is all from memory) #2 produced a lot of stones while others in there produced few and some produced a lot. Somewhere in there I learned that most people were calling the flush I was doing the " flush " so that's what I was doing. By #11 almost nothing came out, and it was the same for #12. Don't really remember the spacing of the flushes by #11, but when nothing much came out with #11 and #12, I searched and found the Cure Zone Dr. flush protocol at: http://www.curezone.com/cleanse/liver/Are_You_Stoned.asp That was 2 or 3 years ago. I then modified the flush to incorporate the 2 cups of olive oil and lemon juice that is advocated by . Using the no food after 2, Epsom's at 6 and 8, and oil and lemon juice every 15 minutes starting at 10, went until I had consumed 2 cups of oil. Immediately (with that flush) the stones started to emerge again and in quantities greater than ever before. Also, most the stones that now come out are a very very dark green and not the bright green that came out in the early flushes. It has been said that these dark green (almost black) stones have been in the liver for many years and that the bright green ones must be cleaned out before we can get to the old dark green ones. I believe that because that is exactly what has happened to me. Now, with flushes 27 and 28 the stones are diminishing. Part of that is because I can no longer get down the full 2 cups of oil and part may be because I haven't properly prepped. I have been on low/no-fat vegetarian for about 2 weeks and plan to do another flush within the next week or so. My last flush was about a month ago and I wish to prep really well and consume the full compliment of oil to see what will happen. If no more stones come out then I'll slack off to once a year or even longer. During all of these flushes I've had varying degrees of success and a time or two have thought that I was ended, but then more stones came out. For those who say that the green globs are just the oil that has been consumed I respond to that with: If that were true, then the same quantity and color of stones would come out each time, and also, how can you explain the fact that at times no stones emerge? Also, earlier today someone posted the fact that what they passed doing this flush was given to their doctor (MD) and analyzed in the lab and confirmed as gallbladder stones. Thank you so much for that post. Even at the Cure Zone site I posted above, the flush stones have been analyzed by an independent lab as gallstones. The flush works. After one flush - about #21 or so - I began to run a fever the evening after the flush. My fever hit 102 by about 2 AM, lasted for about 8 hours and then as quickly as it began, it left. This is one reason I now follow up the morning Epsom salts with psyllium seed powder to keep the bowels moving. It is my belief that not only do stones get flushed, but toxins and bacteria too and you got to keep it going out of the body or it will just be reabsorbed and right back into where it was flushed from. Don't give up before you have done a complete series of flushes, and stick to the protocol exactly, in the beginning, or you might not see proper results. Could you give us all a little more info? How long has it taken you to flush 28 times? How often do you flush now? What is your standard diet now? Thank you.
