Guest guest
I wish to thank those who offered kind words regarding my flushes. I don't consider myself to be the vet that some are. Some have done 50 or more flushes. I feel that I can offer suggestions for those starting out, and perhaps give my opinion on why the flush " didn't work. " I had a few of those and in almost all cases I can point to a preparation error. Fat for breakfast (just a small amount or even egg yolks can interfere) or fat in the evening meal the day before - fat stays in the system for a long time. But when it comes to those asking questions regarding an MD's diagnosis of gallstones and the suggestion of surgery and their seeking an alternative, I don't have experience with that at all and I truly appreciate those on the list who have offered suggestions through their own experience in that area. Yes, I've done 28 flushes but I've also SWORN 28 times that I'd never do another one. That was generally about the time the oil or 6th oil was going down or the alarm clock said Epsom's time. I HATE taking that stuff in the morning, twice!!! - at that. But, that part is every bit as important as the doses the night before. There have also been several flushes in which after it's all over, its as if Nirvana has set in. The appetite is not only contained but almost gone and the feeling of well-being is truly remarkable. That can last anywhere from a couple of days to a week. Others have mentioned this same result. Good flushing to all. Jay
