Guest guest
>>>>>>Hulda goes into detail on these " stones " in her book A Cure For All Diseases. She has had people go through her liver cleanse (myself included) and pass THOUSANDS of these green and tan " stones. " The green " stones " are actually made of cholesterol, and are soft not hard like a stone. The interesting part is that those people who have had their gallbladder removed still pass these stones, hence her claim that the stones originate in the liver. --------------------->alternatively, i've read that these 'stones' could also possibly be congealed olive oil. i'm not very good at chemistry...does anyone know what happens when you mix a relatively large amount of olive oil with a smaller amount of an acidic medium like lemon juice or vinegar (as suggested in many liver flushes) and pass it through a large warm tube with little exposure to oxygen? i know that bile salts should break down some of the oil, but i wonder if it's possible that the liver can be overwhelmed when a large quantity of olive oil is ingested and simply can't produce enough bile salts to digest it all, so some of the oil passes out in globs (stones)? just wondering out loud here...i have read these conflicting ideas, but have no idea myself what these 'stones' really are. Guest guest
I don't know but one time while doing the flush I didn't take epsom salts the following day and " stones " became one huge stone. It made me think that the stones are actually saponified oil and if you flush it out quickly you get stones but if it sits in your gut for any lenght of time you get a golf ball. Anyway, whether or not they are really stones from the liver doesn't make any difference to me because the flush, whatever it does always makes me feel much better. Guest guest
When you factor in the large amounts of Epson salts and water, I doubt it the stones are the fresh olive oil and lemon/grapefruit juice. There are green stones, tan stones, and " gravel " type stones passed with these cleanses (HUNDREDS of them). Also, there is much, much more information in her book. Guest guest
Hi all-- I have a few stones in my liver and am awaiting an ercp for removal. The flushes sound pretty good, but what about if you have a malfunction of the bile duct? Mine appears to constrict or get blocked, causing bile back-up, which causes stones to form. How can a flush help, if it seems to be a problem with the bile duct not letting bile flow through normally? Anyone else out there like this? Guest guest
Hi Leah, The bile ducts are the smallest passages that a stone has to go through on it's " way out " . Open those up, and the rest is easy. It just so happens that the right amount of epsom salts does just that. I quote from Dr. Hulda 's " The Cure For All Diseases " : " For many persons, including children, the billiary tubing is choked with gallstones. Some develop allergies or hives but some have no symptoms...pg. 555 " " [The night of the flush after two doses of epsom salts and taking the grapefruit juice and olive oil]: Try to think what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!) pg. 557 " . You need to make the decision on what to do. What ever your choice, I pray you'll get better and keep all your body parts. Vince > Hi all-- > > I have a few stones in my liver and am awaiting an ercp for removal. Guest guest
I already had my gallbladder out three years ago! The beginning of all these problems! How can a flush help, if it seems to be a > problem with the bile duct not letting bile flow through normally? Anyone > else out there like this? > Leah Hi, Leah, You bile duct contricts, or has spasms perhaps? I have heard that that can happen, and mimic a gallbladder attack. The epsom salts, which are a form of magnesium, available cheaply at any pharmacy or those isles in the supermarket, taken as described by others here or at my web page about my flushes, will relax the bile ducts. Then when you take the oil mixed with juice in the quantity suggested, your gallbladder contracts and spills out it's contents through the relaxed ducts into your intestinal system. The gallbladders function is to store bile, bile is used by the body to digest fats and oils, so when you take more than the usual amount of it, it causes a more forceful emptying of the gallbladder. The contents, including stones, pass through the bile ducts that have been relaxed by the epsom salts, into the intestinal system, that has been cleaned out by the laxative affect of the epsom salts. I hope that is an easy-to-follow explanation. I've been doing this since the mid-1980's, before I'd ever heard of H. , and think just simply starting with a flush is a good thing. If it goes well, you will be inspired, and will then want to learn more about how to adjust your diet, etc. I eat fairly well, moderate amounts of fats, and the oils I supplement are Flax Seed Oil, Lecithin and Black Currant Oil (the later for other reasons). I am not on a strict vegetarian diet, and my body continues to make stones. I just plan into my life flushing every 6 months or so. I hope to keep my gallbladder as long as I can. Guest guest
> I already had my gallbladder out three years ago! The beginning of all these > problems! > Leah, I just saw this after my earlier response...the flush should still work for you, getting the stones out of the liver and the ducts will be refreshing! You'll feel great after, and the ducts will relax for you in the same way they would have if you had a gallbladder. Then you will want to keep eating the right oils to keep the bile moving, and take things to help in thinning the bile others have mentioned. L.
