Guest guest
Hi Luci, My mom was a little overweight but with no history of any problems anywhere except the stones. I talked to my Natural Path and he told me some older people's liver, even if it is in perfect health, can get shocked with the flush and go haywire. I should also mention that when she did the flush her Bilirubin levels were around 150 which means the bile backed up into her liver which did not help either. I hope this helps someone. --------------------------------- Post your free ad now! Canada Personals
Guest guest
Hi Ludi. I'm still a little lost how you think this can help warn people " like your mom " since you haven't told us much. From what I've read just being female and overweight can predispose you toward gallstones, so one would have to assume that at least half of the people here could be " like your mom " in that respect. You keep referring to your mother's age, but I have a 20 year old daughter who could write in here some day and sound like she thinks I'm elderly at 42 years of age. From what you've said I don't know whether I need to be concerned because I might have something in common with your mother or whether I'm too young to need to worry. BTW, I've done two flushes and had a lot of success with each one and my husband has done about four and really thinks they're wonderful. We both use olive oil, though I use a lot more of it than he does in his recipe. One thing I've started doing on a nightly basis is taking magnesium tablets, 2000mg of vitamin C, and 4 or 6 flax oil capsules just before bed. I figure if things dissolve well I should be relaxing my ducts, softening some gallstones, and maybe inducing some stone expulsion on a daily basis. I haven't noticed any gallbladder pressure in ages, but I'm on an food allergy elimination diet right now, so I'm really watching what I eat, too. I don't think any of those things would hurt your mother, and she could add apple juice to her daily menu, too, to help dissolve stones. Hi , I'm interested in that, too. If you find anything, would be interested to hear. The only thing I could find was that liver-related edema is generally associated with pre-existing cirrosis. In the past few weeks, I've been having those (blue moon?) tweaks, too. Unlike Will, can't handle liver, at all, so started back in on the avocado and balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressings. Have had two morning stone dumps and pain has gone, again. I'm pretty sure this regimen is like a slow, gentle flush. Feel better soon! Blessings, n
