Dear " Kamploops " , Really enjoyed your email - thanks for sharing your " gently does it " wisdom. Will always offers great insight, too, and so true that the " too much, too late " rule of thumb can precipitate a whole new set of problems all their own, especially in the weak and elderly. One question for you...you said your Mom's edema problem occurred " several weeks " after the flush she did. What was it that helped you to make the connection to the actual flush? Is it possible that her condition was something isolated and unrelated to her flush? I'm very interested in the time lapse she experienced, because if her liver was in such poor shape before her flush, wouldn't it have created the edema problem almost immediately? I'm not a medical person, so really just wondering why it would have taken so long for these acute symptoms to have occurred. Thanks! Blessings, n
Guest guest
Perhaps you could give us more information so people would be more aware of what would make them more likely to be at the same health risks as your mother. How old was your mother when she did the flush? Which protocol did she follow? How long did she prepare ahead of time? What information had she read to prepare herself? Had she had any previous liver problems? What was her gallbladder/gallstone history? What other complications does she have -- is she diabetic, severely overweight, partially crippled, recovering from cancer, smoker, alcoholic, anemic, asthmatic, or suffering from an impaired immune system? Did she have a goiter or other signs that her thyroid wasn't functioning properly? Had she had a stroke or heart attack? Did she have fully functioning lungs, kidneys, stomach, intestines, pancreas, and liver prior to this difficulty. I don't want to imply that your mother has any of these problems, I'm just trying to point out that you didn't give us much to go on except that she's your mother and she did a flush and a couple weeks later had liver problems. Your warning is valid, but it's only as valid as the information you give us so that people can make a more informed assessment of whether they would be in the same danger you feel your mother was. Luci > Hi, > My mom did the Olive oil flush and it nearly ruined her liver. Many stones came out which was good but a few weeks later she got edema and her body swelled with water and nobody could help her. > After much research, I read on this site that it happened to another person here too but when they posted a question, nobody answered them. > I just want to warn older people that to do things carefully. Large amounts of any oil seen to shock the liver and some people get problems later. My mother's liver nearly collapsed and it was touch and go for awhile. I am a strong believer in alternative medicine and it still saved my mother's life, thanks to a great naturalpath in my city, but I feel all sides should be revealed so if one of you have the same problem where your liver gets shocked that you know you are not alone. > My mom's Albumin levels sank to 24 and her body could not control her fluids any longer and she swelled up for months to the point where she was bed ridden and could not walk anymore. > She is much better now and but it was a long drawn out battle for her, and if I did it next time I would have done it more cautiously with some of the herbs first to crush her stones and flush them slowly. There is an even better way. Just drink 1 glass of organic apple juice every morning and night 30 minutes before food for 3 months and the malic acid in the juice will disolve all the stones in your body without any trauma or side effects. > Hulda always uses a radical approach including Epson Salts which has messed up many people. If any one reads her book " The cure for all Diseases " they will realize that she is somewhat paranoid and forgets that the human body can take many things in moderation and heal itself. If it was up to her we would all have to live in a bubble with no bacteria what so ever in order to cure ourselves. > Balance is the trick. > If you have the chance, be kind to your bodies and treat them with respect and do things carefully instead of radically, unless of course your situation is so severe that the radical approach is the best way to help. >
