The *New* Ten Commandments http://tinyurl.com/245sr " They told just the same, That just because a tyrant has the might By force of arms to murder men downright And burn down house and home and leave all flat They call the man a captain, just for that. Guest guest
Ludi brings up a good point, that of making life changes when you are old, eg, over 30. Just kidding, but particularly after ANY chronic pattern over decades of living. Some of these old people are " damned if they do, damned if they don't " . if they as much as sneeze, they could croak. By the time they hit a crisis, they can be in a place where they need drastic change but yet ANY change could sicken or kill them just as dead as the disease. It would be nice if the older people we work with or advise could begin some cleansing when there is time for the " baby steps " approach. Another tragedy is that when people have a bad reaction to these flushing/cleansing lifestyle or dietary changes it gives ALL natural medicine a bad name. You never hear the end of it! However, when they have a bad reaction to drugs or surgery, well, that was either god's will or they waited too long to get help and " nothing could be done " . As it turns out, going to the doctor is one of the most dangerous things you can do in the United States. Now more people die from doctoring than any single disease. In 2001, the latest year we have figures, it was heart disease 699,000, cancer 553,000 and medical intervention 790.000. How 'bout dem apples?
