Susie, Thanks so much for taking the time to share your story. I found it very

encouraging particularly that your GB was empty confirmed by ERCP. I'm sorry

that you eventually had to have the op :o( although I completely understand why

you made that decision.

I believe that there is some type of 'bile salts' that you can take after the

op that helps with bile dump syndrome, I hope you can find more info on it and

please do not stop with the healthy eating or flushing as that is so important.

My Mother, as I've shared before, has worse problems with liver stones than she

ever had with gallstones.

I haven't heard of this 'Beta-TCP' I must look it up. thanks for mentioning it

:o)

Your experience mirrors my own so closely it's almost uncanny! I too seem to

pass stones easily from my GB but then get them stuck in my bile duct. And isn't

jaundice just gorgeous!? lol. I never realised how yellow I was until I

breastfed our new baby and noticed the stark contrast between his fair skin and

my bright yellow skin.

Blessings

Mama.

Wht is bile dump syndrome ? I just did a search on the 'net and found

nothing.

,

I'm not 100 percent for sure that that's what she called it. She called it

something dump syndrome. I'll try to ask her again.
