Guest guest
speaking of mucus in the stool......why would this happen? This is something I have noticed about my own bm's (when they happen) lately. Can anyone shed any light on this? Leah>> When prepping for a different cleanse, I have used Senna tea, which is a generally accepted " herbal " laxative. That has caused me to expel mucous at times and what it really is, is the lining of your intestines, so I have stopped using it. If you look at ExLax, you will find that Senna is the ingredient in ExLax. So those who slam ExLax are really slamming what is one of the most highly recommended laxatives by alternative medicine. Guest guest
wow, Jay, that's very interesting. Actually I saw mucus in my stool before the exlax, but this new information is helpful nonetheless. I rarely take the stuff. In fact, I had bought it in the summer when we were out camping, to solve my typical travelling constipation problems. It was the only laxative in the house. And it surely worked!
