Guest guest
Hello, Just came upon Dr Weil's website and read his article refuting liver/gall stone flushing at: http://www.drweil.com/app/cda/drw_cda.html-command=TodayQA-questionId=16253 It is his contention that liver flushing is an old wive's tale and, yet, I don't see any clinical trial evidence to back up his medical opinion. I have a lot of respect for this guy, whom I feel has been a real troubadour for holistic health, yet I am very surprised by this obvious omission and have written to his website Q & A in the hopes of an answer. Don't all of the medical profession base their learned opinions upon such studies? Is it really the liver flushers with handfuls of rock solid stones who are the quacks, or the mainstream medical practitioners who offer random medical opinions without any statistical back-up? Is anyone here aware of any clinical trials that have been done regarding liver flushing? If so, what were the results of their findings? Thanks all! Blessings, n
