Hey Tina, Yeah, avocados are quite high in calories, but they are also loaded with the good fat and filled with nutritional value. My trouble is that it's a challenge to eat enough calories in a day to meet the daily requirement, so an avocado for lunch is a good thing for me, personally. You could also add slices to a salad. Even a couple slices are a healthy thing, if the calorie count concerns you. Haven't come across avocado oil before, but sounds interesting. If you try it, let us know what you think. Thanks! I cut them in half and leave the seed in one half, do not peel that half, wrap snugly in saran wrap and store in the fridge. Shoul dbe good for a couple days.
