Guest guest
Sharon, it's fun to hear from you! I followed the recipe for a gallbladder cleanse that has you eat a fat free menu the first half of the day, eat nothing after lunch, take epsom salts with water about 2 hours before beginning the flush, do an epsom salt enema if you can stand it (I did the first time, couldn't the second time), then you lie down and every twenty minutes you are supposed to drink 1/2 cup of olive oil and 2 or 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, in between you lie very still on your right side. When you've taken 1 cup of lemon juice and an entire pint of olive oil you are supposed to go to sleep and try to sleep at least 4 hours -- 6 to 8 hours is better -- before allowing yourself to get up and use the toilet. The next day you spend your time going in and out of the bathroom, collecting stones, and inspecting them. I don't actually use apple juice, but my husband tries to drink about a quart of it in the few days leading up to his flushes. I prefer taking high doses of vitamin C -- sometimes I get a little urgent about getting to the rest room, but I really have remarkably little gallbladder pain. It's been about 4 years since I had my ultrasound that showed gall stones. For the first two years I just ignored it because I wasn't having any pain. Then I finally decided to see what I could find on the Internet and here I am... happily accepting responsibility for my own health. Luci > > > Luci, thanks for apple juice information. We are very new to cleansing and I was wondering about something to drink or eat daily that would disolve stones. May I ask your recipe for your liver cleanse? > > And by the way...you sure are " elderly " !! *giggle* > > Sharon (who is 54 *smile*) Way elderly! >
