Guest guest
<<My goal in all this includes flushing and dissolving to get rid of current stones but I ALSO want to " plug the leak in the boat " e.g. stop the accrual process. I want to get to the point where my bile flows without creating stones. This is where the diet changes, weight loss, exercise, herbs, stress management and all else gets to heal the liver and GB. >> Will (and also the other group members, although Will brought this subject up): In order to truly heal your GB, in my paradigm, you also MUST heal the emotional state that brought you (me) to this place. The Chinese idea that the liver is the seat of the emotions resonates with me and I have felt moved to address a number of issues and emotional patterns in my life around anger/frustration ( liv/GB) responsibility (Pancreas), futile worry(Spleen), etc. As I addressed those places that needed healing and resolution, healing has come to my digestive pieces and parts. You are working your butt off to find a healthy place for the rest of your life. Think hard about adding the emotional component. One of the smarter healers I every met, Dietrich Klinghardt (a very hard headed German) presented a model or paradigm for healing -- it was a triangle, divided horizontally into 4 layers. The top layer was symptoms; the next layer was infections/fungus/virus/bacteria, etc. The next layer was heavy metal and toxic agents and the bottom layer was unhealed emotional issues. To heal the top layer, one had to address the other layers too. Christiane Northrup, MD a very wise women's health doctor wrote a book called Wisdom of Menopause. Go get it and read the first 50 pages or so. She talks about what menopause is REALLY to a woman. I think it also applies to men, the wake up call of clean up your act, deal with your past -- dreams not fulfilled, or problems that need resolution, clean up your biography so you can clean up your biology, otherwise you will die of some sort of crappy violent cancer or the like or be so miserable from GB issues your life gets very small and unmanageble. Off my soapbox. You give so much to the group and you are trying so hard to clean up your act and get your life turned around, I thought I would at least share my thoughts, so you can chew on them a little. Best wishes, (Atlanta, next door to Miami <G>)
