Guest guest
I think you are herxing to all the supplements you are on. Caprylic acid is an antifungal and you are also taking your prescription one. Transfer factor and inositol will stimulate your immune system. These can all produce herx symptoms which can make you feel worse. Basically your body is dealing with an overload of toxins. Releasing too many toxins at once and not being able to eliminate them is counterproductive and will make you feel lousy. Some people have detoxification systems that are not working properly and they have alot of trouble eliminating the toxins that are released from dying pathogens, etc. I suggest you drink lots of water, and reduce what you are taking. You can reduce dosages or even stop a few of them for awhile and slowly reintroduce them. It does take awhile to feel better after explantation---everyone is different. Sometimes explantation and time are enough, but often we need to do more. There can be alot of trial and error in finding what you need to do to get your body back on track. Many of us have done different types of detoxing, etc. You will improve but it may take some time. Hang in there. Hugs,Kathy > > > > > > so your symptoms haven't got much better ? Guest guest
Brown rice, millet, kashi, barley, vegetable (green leafy ones are best, corn and peas and lima beans are least desirable). Organic is best, free range chicken and meat, deep ocean fish. Protein is ok on an anti-fungal diet. Lots of pure water. Herbal teas (no sweetener). All good ideas. Guest guest
Beans are ok in moderation, but make you gassy. Other protein may not be so bad, turkey, chicken, etc. Unless you are vegetarian. I am allergic to soy, so would make a bad vegetarian. Lynda At 10:30 PM 6/9/2006, you wrote: >so millet and rice are okay? Well, I guess if fruit is out of the question, i've been breaking it DAILY!!! Huhhh... just another change i'm going to have to make! How LONG do we have to do this???? Guess I better prepare myself mentally NOW! =) - On 6/9/06, BSBanshee1@... <BSBanshee1@...> wrote: , Some fruits were allowed in Dr. Kolb's diet. I am craving a damn Krispy Kreme Donut myself girl and a big glass of chocolate milk. We have to like starve the bacteria fungus from sugar for a while to kill it off I hear. It seems to be working for me and I am having a hard time with the diet in general. I don't break it but want to really bad. It is also on www.plastikos.com under silicone protocal the diet is on second page I think. Donna

Guest guest
Donna, I can sure relate, I still have to have a good cry about once a month, and I'm 7 months post explant (and while I had implants I cried constantly, then afterwards I was crying less but the experience is just so surreal). I think you got sick right away like I did, right? I got sick within weeks of getting the implants, and had them out after six months, so I'm still reeling from the events of the past year. I started a new job two months ago but I find that I'm much more emotionally fragile than I was before. I finally started doing some supplementation, I'm taking baby steps, and the first thing I've tried is called Culturelle, which is a probiotic. I generally experience side effects from many things so I'm overly cautious about trying anything, but I really needed something to get things under control. I have noticed that my toes haven't ached for the last few days, so I'm not sure if it's coincidence or not, but I'll continue to monitor the situation, and then I'll start adding the other things recommended by the holistic doctor. I also haven't had the shooting pains in my head and feet that had disappeared over the winter but were coming back recently. I have a prescription for Nystatin to fill, and I'll start taking MethylCobalamin B-12, Cod Liver Oil, then I'll work into the Glutamine, Cysteine, Alpha Lipoic Acid and see how it goes. One thing I learned about the B-12, there are a few different kinds, but this doctor recommends the MethylCobalamin B-12 because apparently it assists quite a bit with liver function. The doctor told me that this should help with the numbness in my fingers and toes, the hearing loss, and the depression (lately I've been in a real funk). Guest guest
, When you did the foot detox bath at Dr. Kolb's even though you had to be removed after 5 minutes. How did that work for you? Did it remove any toxins from your body? Donna
Guest guest
Sis, Yes I started getting fatigue at first, then turned into a lot of the same symptoms you described. My baby toe used to go numb and it scared me to death. One night my whole body went numb, I woke up my boyfriend and was to scared to go back to bed. I was calling Inamed and they were of no help. I did every thing to try to find out what was wrong. The doctor's here think if Saline that is safe salt water. All I can say is Thank God I found the support sites and listened to you all instead of my quacks around here. This is ridiculous when you go to so many doctors and here some lies. Guest guest
Donna, I'm convinced that what breast implants do the brain is even worse than what it does to the body! However, the brain thing will get better in time . . . Did you know that we make new brain cells throughout our lives? . . They used to say that we were born with all we would ever have. The problem is that we have to keep training the new cells . . . so keep doing stimulating things . . . reading, puzzles, games, math - whatever makes you put your thinking cap on. It's every bit as important to exercise the mind as it is to exercise the body. Hugs, Rogene
