Guest guest
Good Morning: I had a very stressful day yesterday, did not eat well, am low on enzymes. I had a difficult GB attack last night (still have residual today) and I realize since my GB disease has been more of the constant, cramping, complaining, nagging kind that I am ill prepared for an acute attack of overwhelming nausea and (luckily for me) low-grade pain. I immediately took some Epsom salts and that helped. (How often can you take it, max dose, is drug variety ok or is " food-grade " better?) All the apple juice was gone although my kind husband made me some at 430am to which I added some hydrangea herbal, lemon juice and kitchen bitters. I also used nux vomica, rescue remedy, breathing exercises and a good dose of prayer to keep me home and out of the ER. What do you experienced folks recommend if someone encounters an acute situation? Will, you said your emergency kit (such helpful info when I re-read that message again at 3:30 am, thank you) included Carbo Veg 6c ---homeopathic. Why did you select that one? I appreciate this group and its support and REALLY appreciated this group in the wee hours when I was prepared enough not to panic but ride it out. I could use some sleep though. Thanks in advance for the advice. (Atlanta)
Guest guest
, What you did sounds great to me. I think you may have possibly averted the situation already. It's very possible you will pass stones as well. Eventually you will following an event like this. I mentioned the homeopathic Carbo Veg as it is one of the main remedies to consider for nausea as well as the Nux Vomica. Go with the one that works. Fumeria is the one specifically for relaxing the spasm of the common bile duct and associated symptoms. You can also muscle test or dowse for the correct remedy, potency and frequency to use. Each person is very different so results vary accordingly. If you don't know how to do that, get to a holistic doc that does it. Any dowser can muscle test you. I've never had to use the epsom salts more than 3 times in any given attack. It always works for me. Maybe someone else here has used it more, but I'd think that if you aren't getting results after a triple shot, it may require adding other means. Personally, I don't think there is any danger from using it this often. People who warn of dangers don't seem to have anything that backs this up. At this point in your process, I would suggest a fast for a few days, resume the apple juice when you start taking in nutrients and give yourself 20-30 enzyme tablets a day. Keep up your vitamin regieme and avoid things that could trigger problems for a while (whatever they are for you, coffee, fats, onions, spices, etc.) . I would suggest moving as much as possible, walking, swimming and gentle exercises, especially stretching or yoga. Foot massage is AMAZING for this. LIfting your arms up frequently and stretching the torso can help open the bile ducts. I'm in the process of converting over to the Chinese herbs and the GB-6 seems to help the stage you are in. You need to reduce " damp heat " and that is what it is designed to do. I'd also do a hot castor oil pack immediately (60 min at max heat) and do it 2-3 times a day for a while. It is AMAZING. This would also be a good time to get to a Chinese TCM doctor, naturopath, holistic chiropractor or holistic doctor for additional diagnostic work and treatment plan. In the extremely rare case you would have a stuck stone now, there is no way you will not know it. The severe pain, nausea, vomiting, jaundice and anorexia would tell you loud and clear. Keep your first aid kit handy. Once you get through this one, you will build your confidence and tools to heal. Your breathing will not go insane and the anxiety will be far less. Keep us posted as to how you are doing and let us all know what works, Best wishes, and don't forget to BREATHE! Will
