Guest guest
Hello everyone, Since my GB was removed last year, I'm now having a new set of problems. The last few months I can hardly eat. So I was telling one of my first cousins about it who I just recently met for the first time doing genealogy stuff. He's quite a few years older than me and is in excellent health. Anyway, his wife had to have her GB removed several years ago. Come to find out my problem is not unique as she has the same problem as I do. You know when you have your GB removed, you now have all that bile dripping into your stomachs. Well, here is what's happening to me. I get extremely hungry. I sit down to eat a meal and after two or three bites, I'm extremely full. So now my cousin says that I'll need to learn a different way to eat for a lifetime. Oh, boy! I probably can't eat regular meals anymore. Now I need to eat several times a day in very small amounts. Of course I can eat a few raw veggies throughout the day, and I basically need just finger foods. This is what his wife does now. It's something about all that bile dripping down into our stomachs all the time. Once food hits the stomach, your brain says, " I'm full. " I was scared at first thinking something is horribly wrong. It's one thing to know that you need to lose weight, but when this happens, it's kind of scary. There is one thing that seems like it's helping my diarrhea problem, though, and I found it at the message board that someone on here sent for people who've had their GBs removed at CureZone. One lady started trying calcium carbonate, so I bought the Caltrate brand. So far I have an improvement in my diarrhea. I'm beginning to think that my diarrhea was like a bad IBS. Y'all ought to read this Web site about people who have IBS real bad. Read the embarrassing tales. I feel for these people. http://www.ibstales.com/happy_tales_one.htm Take care, Susie Anyway, just thought I'd let y'all know. I hope that all of you can save your GBs.
