I just want to tell you how appreciative I am of your support and advice. I

will be printing these emails out and looking into them. Right now, I am

totally drowning myself in glasses of water and am planning on getting a jug

of grapefruit juice. Thanks for being understanding of where I am coming

from concerning flushing right now, and sticking to what my doctor says. I

was afraid I'd be ousted or something....but instead you gave me some easier

things I can do right now. Thanks thanks.

And I really appreciated the look into why this is all happening (grumpy

liver). It makes total sense, because before the big attack, I was having

trouble digesting food--one day a bowl of soup literally sat in my stomach,

up to my throat for over nine hours without digesting! Since January, my

liver had been feeling 'big' and I had been notably losing energy. Then came

the pinching pain in the liver and the poor digestion. Blood tests and

ultrasound showed nothing wrong. Then the pinching pain gradually evolved

into something that felt like I had just been hit by a firing squad--I went

to the hospital, and they found nothing wrong. Three days later, I had the

big attack. So it didn't just come out of nowhere. It was a process indeed.

That's why I am carefully taking note of all the information you are all

giving me, so that I can take preventative measures in the future. The funny

thing is that this always tends to happen to me at this time of the year.

Maybe all the gluttony I cave into over the holidays really adds up and gets

me in the spring? I don't know. But now I'm more aware of how things work,

and that I can take some steps towards prevention.

Thanks again!

Leah
