Ok, I am waiting for Will to swoop down and dispute this idea <G><no offense intended>, but my Mom working hypothesis would be : 1) need for minerals if he is outside and hot all the time, 2) need for adrenal support (I would try Rescue Remedy which is a gentle but effective flower remedy to see if his body would right itself if he were calmer), 3)parasites that I know you are familiar with, 4) a serotonin or dopamine (I cannot remember which is the " feel good " neurotransmitters) imbalance which I would deal with homeopathically. 5) candida. After looking at that list I would find a good natural doctor ( naturopath would be the first choice) and have him tested before I took any action. If I were the Mom that would be my approach. Guest guest
It is a long term treatment however 'lecithin' is the best cure for sugar craving. For years I craved for sugar and sweets. After having had lecithin capsules for about a year about ten years ago, now I never crave for sugar. However, I continue to take lecithin on and off. The yeast connection website is a good resource and one can find lots of useful information on there. This is the current one I received: <<<<<<If you've just started on our Yeast Fighting Program and you're still struggling with sugar cravings, try this fast and easy way to banish them without sabotaging your diet: open a capsule of L- glutamine and sprinkle its contents on your tongue. This amino acid balances your brain chemistry and eliminates cravings. You can get L-glutamine at most health food stores and nutrition outlets.<<<<<< I hope this helps any of you who are craving sugar.
