Hi Cathie,

I second Jacqui and Will's good wishes, as I am sure everyone here is doing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you both for full recoveries.

If it helps one tiny bit, I would just like to validate your feelings, as you

go through the PTS symptoms resulting from your surgeries and hospital stay.

I also went through that, in my 20s, after a botched hospital delivery that

almost took my baby's and my life. Flashbacks, chronic anxiety, nighttime

awakenings, etc., went with it, but sometimes just having someone acknowledge

and

support what you're going through helps a great deal. It does get better with

time and really spending some good time just honoring and loving yourself and

letting yourself go through the emotions it all evokes. If you can fine an

alternative healer, like a reiki practitioner, who can help with relaxation and

stress reduction that might help, too.

Sending my love and blessings for a full recovery to you both,

n
