Guest guest
Hi Tina, I explained to you in another post to you earlier today that you had that you have gone WAY too quickly with the coconut oil. Going up to 3-4 Tbsp in one week is way too fast and that is what is causing all of your overwhelming symptoms. These are, of course, healing reactions, but it is not necessary for you to suffer this much in order to get healthy. I realize you having trouble finding the replies to your posts as you mentioned earlier. I'm wondering if it would be easier for you to open new separate email account so that all the messages come directly into your inbox, so you can read the responses there and you won't have to go searching for them. What you need to do is cut way back on your coconut oil intake. Start again with 1/2 tsp. three times a day and once you can comfortably tolerate those symptoms for 5 full days, then you can increase it by another 1/2 tsp. at each meal. If that dose gives you overwhelming symptoms, you can decrease it. Don't increase your coconut oil intake again until you feel you are tolerating that dose. Do the same with your daughter. Don't overwhelm her body with too many changes. It took me 6 months to get up to 6 Tbsp. It's not a race! Take it very slowly. Group Moderator > > I am having ever increasing burning itch all over my body and inside of it. > It's maddening. I have only increased my coconut oil to about 3-4 tbsp per day. Otherwise, I tried the cal/mag/vit c pwdrs from NOW for 2 days. I take cod liver oil capsule daily 100omng from carlsons. I also take the full amount of celtic salt daily. > I eat the proper foods, all meat, low carb veggies and water. > > I am having increase antsy restless body that keeps me awake squirming all night long. Mostly I think I've had more coconut oil. I feel like I'm completely a mess and I can barely sleep due to the unrelenting tickly acidic itch feelings inside my body. > I do not want to put my daughter through hell. > > I have concerns about having already been very sensitive /reactives to nuts and previous allergy to nuts on allergy tests. > My daughter too. > > Do we have allergic response to the coconut or is this the way coconut oil heals everyone? I feel like I'm going to go insane with these itches and picky burning all over! Please share and Bee if you could offer some advice? Epsom salt baths make us both itch much more. Hi - of course, I am not suffering from the same things as you are but i, too, got the crazy itching, which drove me nuts. Knowing it (and leg cramps and diarrhea, etc) are all part of the healing makes it easier to accept. As I told my son (21) every time he blew his nose or spit, " It's toxins releasing...Yea! " . Guest guest
Hi , Did all that itching eventually pass? Did you find it moreso in the beginning after starting/increasing coconut oil? I also have been getting leg cramping and already had loose stools, suppose they might be looser now.. yup, I keep reading try to keep myself sane, at this point, I'm reacting crazy inside after every time I eat, and even during night, well seems 24/7 now, and it's quite disturbing that I can't get back to normal/non reactive. Bit scared. Guest guest
Tina - I wish I could give you more reassurance. I think Ali wrote that you just have to wait it out and realize Bee's pgm works. At some point, you need to grab the bull by the horns and don't let go. For me, the itching did stop. I'm surprised to hear people still getting the itches from the nutritional yeast after taking it for a while; i've not had the itches in quite a while. But remember, I've not suffered to any where near the extent you have. Perhaps see if the Epsom salt bath will help... Here's wishing I had a magic wand to wave over you and make it all go away... began 03/09/10 > > Hi , > Did all that itching eventually pass? Guest guest
Tina, I'm no expert but maybe you should stop the coconut oil for now? It could be a histamine reaction - there is no way for anyone to know that. If the itching is awful for you - it's probably too much for your body right now. Maybe you could just start with the diet. I'm experiencing a lot of itching right now and wondering if I'm having a histamine/allergy reaction too. I guess only time will tell. > > > > Hi , > > Did all that itching eventually pass? Bit scared. +++Hi Tina, Also read Success Stories to keep you encouraged. It will take time and patience to become normal/non-reactive since you didn't get unhealthy happen overnight either. It is not a steady uphill climb towards health because there are many healing, detoxifying and retracing symptoms and reactions that need to happen along the way. As time goes by you will get more good days and less bad days. As your body get stronger it becomes able to do more healing too, so just when you are feeling good Wham! your body digs in and does more healing. So hang in there. I do not agree that Tina should stop the coconut oil, since all of the nutrients work together on my program. Instead, she should simply take less coconut oil at a time, spreading it out between 3 meals per day, and very slowly increase them according to how her body reacts. Increases should not be done any sooner than 5 days and some people need to wait even longer. It can take some people 6 months to get up to the recommended maximum amount of coconut oil, i.e. 5.5 tablespoons per day. Bee

Do you disagree? +++Hi Carlin, Of course I disagree. It is impossible for Humans to be allergic to any good unadulterated foods I recommend since our bodies are designed to consume them in order to BE healthy. People " think " they are allergic because they get healing and detoxifying reactions which are the same list of symptoms as allergic reactions. As wrote, allergic reactions aren't what we've been led to believe they are, so read the article about it on my website. Bee
Guest guest
Thanks for explaining Bee. I'm very confused, perhaps you can offer me some advice. As I mentioned before, I am taking Zantac and am also experiencing some detoxing reations (die off - or so it seems)from the coconut. When I asked if this could be harmful because I am on the Zantac and the yeast might be helping to remove the toxins from the medicine - you answered yes, that it could. Should I continue? I really don't want to do my body any more harm. Also, I cannot take many supplements you have listed due to stomach issues and Interstitial Cystitis. Can I still do this program? Your program seems like a great program for people who can follow it 100%. I cannot but would like to get better. I read the information that you posted about yourself and it seems that you had a horrible case - I'd love some advice. The supplements that make me ill are the omega ones, eggs I can only eat occasionally or I get sick, and basically anything except calcium and magnesium. I'd love to know if this program is not a good one for me since I have to take Zantac for now and cannot take all of the supplements. Thanks, Carlin > > > > That's great. When I asked if this could be harmful because I am on the Zantac and the yeast might be helping to remove the toxins from the medicine - you answered yes, that it could. ++=Hi Carlin. That is because your body creates candida/yeast in order to help clean out toxins, like Zantac. Candida is particularly fond of toxins like that along with sugars, high-carbs, etc. Should I continue? I really don't want to do my body any more harm. +++You can take them long enough to get completely on this program, and then go off of them gradually. > Also, I cannot take many supplements you have listed due to stomach issues and Interstitial Cystitis. Can I still do this program? Your program seems like a great program for people who can follow it 100%. Do you have information from someone or somewhere that says you shouldn't? That is because these supplements are also important for you cystitis. > I read the information that you posted about yourself and it seems that you had a horrible case - I'd love some advice. You are getting ill because of healing and detoxifying reactions and not because the omegas or eggs are causing you to be ill. +++The reason you get ill from eggs is because they are high in sulphur, which is one of the 7 most important minerals your body needs in order to detoxify itself. The same is true for omegas. Please do not blame foods or supplements for your reactions, since they are exactly what your body needs in order to detoxify and heal itself properly. +++The trick is to start with small amounts and slowly increase them, like many people, children and babies have had to do. For example: Start with 1/2 tsp of egg yolk per day and only increase the amount every 5 days or longer, so your body has time to adjust to getting something it needs so badly. Then you'll be better able to tolerate your healing symptoms. Also your body is going to " retrace " all of your past symptoms, reactions, organ malfunctions, diseases, illnesses, injuries, etc. while it is healing itself - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php To understand better read articles on healing naturally: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_2.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Dear Bee, I cannot take the supplements because it feels like my bladder is on fire and I am in a pain I find hard to describe. It is not a belief, it is a very real symptom. Interstitial Cystitis feels like a horrible bladder infection with no end. B-vitamins are the worst. Getting vitamins from food seems to be the only way to go for me until I am further along in my healing - which may take years. The Zantac doesn't stop me from taking any supplements - I didn't mean to imply that. Other factors are stomach pain and reflux. I have a hard time pushing my body against the signals it is giving me - for me things work best very slowly and gradually. And pain is scary and caused me to be very very ill. I've read the article about re-tracing but since I've started this diet my stomach lining is so irritated I'm having trouble eating again. I'm scared to keep going as it has taken me a year of food combining, no sugar, and no refined carbs to get to where I am. I understand your philosophy - I may have to take bits and pieces instead - since my situation is different than yours was. Thanks for your help. I'll try with the eggs. It is not a belief, it is a very real symptom. Interstitial Cystitis feels like a horrible bladder infection with no end. +++Hi Carlin. For other members' benefit, here's what Interstitial Cystitis is: Of unknown cause, it is characterised by: pain associated with the bladder, pain associated with urination (dysuria), urinary frequency (as often as every 10 minutes), urgency, and/or pressure in the bladder and/or pelvis. B-vitamins are the worst. Getting vitamins from food seems to be the only way to go for me until I am further along in my healing - which may take years. The Zantac doesn't stop me from taking any supplements - I didn't mean to imply that. Other factors are stomach pain and reflux. I'll try with the eggs. +++That's good you are going very slowly and gradually and understand the basic philosophy of my program. Of course your pain and symptoms will increase when you give your body what it needs so it can heal your bladder, which includes B vitamins, and all of the nutrients (diet plus supplements) work together. I suggest you use Nutritional Yeast Flakes instead of B complex capsules, and start with 1/4 teaspoon or even a pinch of it will every meal, and very slowly increase it as I described about starting on eggs. See my iHerb page for them, but they are many brands that are good, i.e. Frontier, Red Yeast, etc. - ensure you buy the correct kind and not just any brewer's yeast - the yeast in the flakes are inactivated: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php You can also start on other supplements the same way. If you get powdered cal/mag you can take pinches of it - take them with 3 meals per day since spreading out doses helps your body get used to them. You can prick vitamin E or halibut liver oil capsules and squeeze out a little at a time. You can start with 1/4 teaspoon of cod liver oil or less. Of course you can start with small amount of vitamin C too. Niacin is important, but you can put the tablet in a plastic bag, pound it into powder and take pinches of it. Also some people will get stomach reactions since their stomach may need to heal and detoxify. Ensure you do not have any fruits, even the lemons and limes on my program, since they produce more uric acid which burdens your kidneys and bladder. To help unburden your toxic load do other things written in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php You might also do my 9-Day Program: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php But, as always, do not do too much at one time. Guest guest
Hi Carlin, I had Interstitial Cystitis prior to starting Bee's program and it is now completely gone. I want to encourage you to follow Bee's advice because it really works. I'm proof of that! Go slowly with the supplements just as she recommends. It might be a bit upsetting at first that you react so strongly to the supplements and eggs, but soon you will be able to tolerate them at low levels and then you can gradually increase them to the appropriately levels and you will feel better. > > > > To help unburden your toxic load do other things written in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php > > > > You might also do my 9-Day Program: > > http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php > > > > But, as always, do not do too much at one time. > > > > All the best, Bee > > >
