They usually do not return years later to let us know their weight normalized. We have so many people on this group, so it is difficult to recall each person's history and situation. Didn't we discuss your hormone issues and how they relate to weight gain, etc.? Many women have had their period start after not having one - I just found 8 in the Success Stories, and there are many more in the messages on this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php To find them use your Edit Find on this Page function on your Internet Browser and type in period. One women, 22 years old, never had a period in her life and thought she couldn't have children. After a few months on this program her period started so she was elated! Guest guest
Thanks Bee! I finally found a story back in Nov, a woman who got her period after not having it in 4 yrs!! This definitely give me hope. I just hope that me stressing over my weight doesn't cause this to take longer. You said I should have a colonoscopy, but I have had reg. bm's the past 3 days. (woohoo) Maybe the colonics helped. Do you think I should still have the colonoscopy? Thanks BEE!! Guest guest
Hi Hollie, I'm pretty new also, I've been on the diet for a couple of months now, and I had some weight gain issues, but not with the program. I've always been slender, and suddenly, I gained a few pounds and they would not come off, which was very unusual for me. This was one of my first warning signs pointing to a Candida problem for me. Since I've been on the program, my weight has gone back to normal, it fluctuates, like by the end of the day I'll be a couple of pounds heavier and back to normal in the morning, but that has always been normal for me. I read someone else's post about gaining a lot of weight on not feeling good, in which they mentioned a link to coconut oil and the diet pill on Bee's website, and I read it, and found it helpful. I always wait until I'm hungry to eat and exercise everyday, I run at lunch and eat afterwards, and that's how I feel ggreat. Bee talks about mild forms of exercise, so when my body is asking for rest, I'll either take it easy. The article talks more in detail about waiting to eat and exercising, so your body can switch over to burning fat for fuel. Also, since I've been on the diet, my appetite has been incredibly stable, a two-egg omelette at 6 in the morning with half a tomato and spincah, will hold me over till about 1 or 2, I'll eat lunch and not be hungry until about 6.30 or 7, and I can feel I'm hungry but not starving. I've noticed such an improvement with the program, I don't miss anything and the cravings that I experienced at the beginning are totally gone. Life is good again, even better now because I understand my body so much better. By the way here's the link to the article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/coconut3.php Best, Caroline > > > > > > I have been on the diet for a month now & feel that it is helping me get healthier, but I have already gained 4 or 5 pounds. Guest guest
Thanx Caroline, that article was great. I wish I could run! Before starting this diet, I either did hot yoga or an hr of cardio per day. Now, I am just too tired all the time. Do you do the full amount of fat that is recommended? If I don't, I get constipated. I am thinking now, that I should maybe get most of my fat from CO. Right now, I'm just doing the 5 tbl spns per day. Then I find myself eating lots of butter with a little bit of meat & veggies at night to make sure I get my full amount of fat for the day. I am really hoping that this diet will fix my hormone imbalance along w/ the candida. Bee says that is why I'm gaining.. & I think it's pretty normal to weigh more in the afternoon than in the morning. I would never weigh myself in the afternoon ~Hollie > > Hi Hollie, > > I'm pretty new also, I've been on the diet for a couple of months now, and I had some weight gain issues, but not with the program. I would never weigh myself in the afternoon +++Hi Hollie, Exercising is not as important as we've been led to believe it is. Nutrients are what ARE important, along with eliminating toxins and damaging foods, etc. Did you ever notice Lions in the wild? They are very lazy creatures and yet their bodies do not get fat. That is because they choose their foods by instinct rather than by hunger or taste, etc. like Humans do today. When a person is unhealthy their body requires all of its energy and resources in order to heal and detoxify itself, so that's why only Mild Exercises are recommended. Your body detoxifies itself more at night, so it stands to reason your body can accumulate more toxins, along with more water, by the afternoon, particularly when you are unhealthy. My weight does not fluctuate during the day, but I'm healthy. Anyone who wants to do the Bee's All Meat & Fat Program can, but only when their fat intake is up the lower range of their ratios. Remember, there is no race to get your fat ratios up either; it takes as long as it takes for you to achieve it, so you can handle the resulting increase in detoxifying symptoms and reactions. However, it is impractical and unnecessary to eliminate all carbs. Having the recommended carb ratios means you spend less money for food, since carbs are a cheaper way to get glucose than to get it from meats and eggs. All the best, Bee
