Look between Jan 2004 and say June of 2004 and you will find a wealth of info just on the gallstones group, then check out the liver flush group and I think s Mortiz has a group too ( he has written several books on Liver health). There was a discussion on sphincter of Oddi dysfunction also during that time. Yes, any sort of toxicification issue (like arthritis) will get worst if your channels of elimination are functioning suboptimally, as is the case you have reported with your liver. Guest guest
St. Cathie: > 1. How/With what exactly do you make a castor oil hot pack? ******Pour 1/2 cup castor oil on a washcloth and put it on your naked belly over the liver. put saran wrap over it and then a heating pad on high for 30-40 minutes. Save the rag in plastic for continued reuse. Repeat as needed. This is practically magic. > 2. I know digestive enzymes are good, but which ones specifically should we look for? ****I now get mine from either 1-800-PROZYME or Swanson's 1-800-437-4148. There is no way to know which versions are best empirically, so get 3-4 jars of each kind and try them all. That's what I did. You can also muscle test once you have them. If you don't know how to do AK, go to a holistic doctor who can muscle test you. > > 3. My husband has severe allergies - *****If I were your husband, I would take 3-6 enzyme capsules 3-6 times a day while waiting for my appointment with an TCM doctor, homeopath, or holistic doctor. Like migraines, PMS or any other totally preventable conditon, there is no need to have allergy misery. I'm guessing you'll want to examine your dietary program from the get-go. (see NOURISHING TRADITIONS). Also get any book by LOUISE HAY. Help is right around the corner. Too bad you don't live in my town, we have some powerful healers. They are everywhere though, you just have to seek them out. > > 4. my arthritis/osteoarthritis has flared up pretty bad (in my hands/knees/neck). Do they go hand in hand, ie, liver probs intensifying arthritis symptoms? ****Probably. What with prostaglandin issues, allergy issues and other detoxification issues. Again, if your current holistic doctor can't get you relief, you need to keep changing until you find one who can straighten your life out. Swanson has LACTOFERRIN, one of the great ways to treat chronic arthritis. You guys should be tested for LYME DISEASE too. You are prime suspects for either that or RAMPANT CANDIDA. > > 5. I've had several surgeries (via ERCP) to increase the size of my biliary & pancreatic sphincters, so since the sphincters cannot totally close, I get lots of gas just sitting in the ducts. *****See #4. There is NO NEED for you to continue suffering. Proper vitamins and nutrients can rebuild scar tissue and restore muscle strength in some cases. Wouldn't you like to get ahold of those surgeons with some sphincter-stretching power tools? Will, optimistic in Minnesota
